The Palmarian Faith Explained
Questions and Answers over the Palmarian Faith,
the Papacy and the Catholic Church

There might have arisen amongst Palmarian Catholics difficulties of Faith as a result of recent unfortunate events, that they might seriously doubt the Palmarian Church to be the only ark of salvation. The Palmarian Faith as taught and enunciated between the years 1978 and 1995 should not be confused with recent difficult actuations of the Pope.

This letter in the form of questions and answers attempts to clearly delineate the Faith and the Papacy and assuage doubters.

1. The Faith was Roman, but is no longer?Yes!

2. Why is the Faith no longer Roman? Why, it has been Roman for almost 2000 years!Because Rome fell from the faith of Christ and became the Seat of Anti-Christ. The Blessed Virgin Mary said it would in 1840 in La Salette, France.

3. When did this fall happen? In 1978, when Pope Paul VI died, the Holy Spirit, the Papacy and the Church left Rome and came to El Palmar de Troya, in Spain.

4. Then the Faith is now Palmarian?Yes!

5. Why did Rome Fall?Because the greater majority of Cardinals, Bishops, Priests, Nuns, and Faithful had embraced teachings and doctrines incompatible with the age-old teachings of the Catholic Churchand so made it impossible for the Holy Spirit to continue to act in the Church of Rome as the Divine Church.

6. What happened to the Church of Rome after the Holy Spirit abandoned it and came to El Palmar in 1978?It changed into what is known as the Post-Conciliar Church headed by two Anti-Popes, John Paul I and John Paul II. Its doctrines are based on the modernist and erroneous teachings and interpretations of Vatican Council II, which are not the doctrines of Christ!

7. Does Palmar reject the Church of Rome?Yes! The Palmarian Church rejects the Post-Conciliar Church of Rome. But it accepts and acknowledges the traditional Catholic Church of Rome as the Divine Church in its time.

8. Is the Palmarian Church the continuation of the Holy, Catholic and Apostolic Church of Rome?Yes!

9. Pope Gregory XVII is the Pope of the Palmarian Church?Yes!

10. How was he elected? He was elected directly by our Lord Jesus Christ in a mystical election in Santa Fe de Bogota, Colombia after the death of Paul VI.

11. Why was he not canonically elected?A valid election was not possible, as the greater majority of the Cardinals had apostatised and excommunicated themselves by embracing notorious and manifest heresies.

12. You mean his election was non-canonical?Yes! Just as St. Peter’s was! In the circumstances of that time, it was the only way our Lord could continue the Papacy.

13. Why do people reject this?Because they do not believe that God would intervene and help the Church in this way!

14. Traditionalist Catholics do not accept the Palmarian Church or Pope Gregory XVII?True!

15. Why not? They do not believe that Jesus took the Church out of Rome and elected a Pope!

16. They say the Palmarian Church is a heretical Sect?Yes! Because they still believe the Church to be Roman.

17. Do they accept the acts of Pope Gregory XVII since the beginning of his Pontificate in 1978, his Papal Documents, Dogmas and Definitions, and the Palmarian Council as Acts of Christ by means of his Vicar? No!

18. The Faith of the Traditionalist Catholics is that of Rome before Vatican Council II?Yes! For them the Church stopped functioning in its hierarchy on the death of Pope Pius XII in 1958.

19. How do you define the Palmarian Faith? The doctrines revealed during the Pontificate of Pope Gregory XVII, his legitimate Doctrinal Acts and Teachings as Vicar of our Lord Jesus Christ.

20. What are the legitimate Doctrinal Acts and Teachings of Pope Gregory XVII?The Pontifical Documents 1-45, the Dogmatic Definitions 1-854, the Infallible Creed - Symbol of the Palmarian Council, the Treatise on the Mass 1980-1992, the Palmarian Catechism in Superior Grade of 1992 and its derivative Catechisms of those years.

21. Why is it called Palmarian? The Pope’s Teaching Chair is in El Palmar de Troya, from whence it derives its name, Palmarian. The Church became Palmarian when the Seat or Cathedra of the Vicar of Christ was moved from Rome to Palmar.

22. What has happened to Pope Gregory XVII?From the mid-nineties onwards he began to deviate in the Faith!

23. How?He began to contradict in his teachings some of his own Infallible Teachings and the teachings of his predecessors in the Pontificate!

24. How is it possible for a Pope to deviate in Doctrine and Dogma?I thought He was infallible.A Pope can become unsound in mind and sick in soul, in which case He loses his Powers and his acts and teachings are invalid, being acts not of Christ by means of his Vicar, but rather of a private person!

25. If Pope Gregory XVII is sick, does that mean the Church is no longer Palmarian? The Church is still Palmarian! The Pope is not the Church, nor the Church the Pope! The Church continues subsisting, although the Visible Head is not functioning as Vicar of Christ! It is as though the Pope were physically dead:the Church continues under the direction of the pastors, with the faithful maintaining the Faith, defined as the teachings of Pope Gregory XVII between the years 1978 and 1995.

26. Is there no law in the Church which legislates for a Pope who is sick?Yes! Canon Law 221 legislates for a Pope who is sick!

27. What does this Canon say?It says the following — Code of Canon Law, 1917:

a. The Power of the Roman Pontiff ceases involuntarily by death, or by certain and incurable dementia, which is equivalent to his physical death.

b. The Power of the Roman Pontiff ceases voluntarily when he freely and publicly renounces.

c. The Power of the Roman Pontiff is also lost if he incurs in notorious and certain heresy or manifest schism, teaching as a private Doctor!

28. Is it true that Pope Gregory XVII abolished this Canon? He did so in the nineties, saying a Pope should never renounce,.He referred to case (b) only. The rest of the Canon, (a) and (c), treats of being deprived of the Papal Powers involuntarily or against one’s will.He cannot abolish it; he is subject to it!

29. But Canon Law is not Divine Law. Is it?Canon Law takes effect by Divine Judgment. Let me quote you the words of the Great St. Pius IX.After he promulgated the Dogma of the Immaculate Conception, he added:"If anyone should hold distinct to us (about the Dogma), know he and be certain that he has condemned himself by his own judgment and has suffered shipwreck in the Faith and has departed from the unity of the Church. And that besides he has submitted himself to the pains established by Canon Law."

30. How should Palmarian Catholics act in view of what has happened to the Pope? They should live the Palmarian Faith intensively:the Mass, the Sacraments, the Penitential Rosary, and all Palmarian devotional practises. They should be conscious that the Missionaries from Seville are reluctant to speak freely, being dominated by fear of chastisement.

31. What would Seville do if a Missionary spoke his own mind and they did not approve of his thoughts? They would chastise him, most probably taking him off the Mission, or even expelling him.

32. But how could a Palmarian find out the truth if he could not get it from his Missionary?By talking to the Bishops who were expelled and refused to be silenced! If you cannot be a Martyr for the truth, how would you ever be a Martyr for Christ?

33. Are the Bishops that have been expelled willing to say Mass and give the Sacraments to Palmarians?Yes! Within the possibilities of our limited financial resources, and if Palmarians are willing to receive and support them. The Divine Cult is lived intensively in Archidona. Almost 200 Masses are celebrated every week.A constant vigil of prayers, Penitential Rosary, Via Crucis, etc. are said for the needs of the Church.

34. You have created a schism in the Church! We have been unjustly expelled and as such are obliged to work independently of Seville. The Excommunications are invalid, not being an Act of Christ. An unjust excommunication is never valid in the eyes of God!

35. Palmarians will lose the Faith. We are trying to save the Faithful from losing their faith in the true Church because of what is happening to the Pope — by reminding them of Palmar’s glorious years under the Baculo of Pope Gregory XVII and of the danger today of apostasy from the Palmarian Faith.

36. Is it not true that there are similarities between what is happening now in the Palmarian Church and what happened in Rome in the seventies?Yes! Satan, like at that time, is trying to dissolve the Church from within and destroy the Faith of the Palmarians!

37. The Pope says those expelled have lost their Powers. It is not the expelled Bishops that have lost their Powers, but he the Pope who has lost his Powers by reason of his obstinate heresies or mental sickness (you can argue which came first)!See Canon 221 above.

38. How can you prove he is teaching errors and heresies?Because not only does he contradict Infallible Teachings of his predecessor Popes, but also he is contradicting what he himself has defined previously as infallible.

39. Give an example of this. The Pope teaches today that the Holy Scriptures in parts is full of manipulations and errors! With this, he contradicts The Council of Trent, Vatican I, Pope Pius IX, Leo XII1 Benedict XV and Pius XII. He also contradicts The Treatise of Mass!

40. But could he be correct and his Predecessors and the Treatise of the Mass Wrong? An infallible Teaching is irrevocable. The Holy Spirit cannot contradict himself. Besides, the Holy Spirit would not have permitted for centuries priests and nuns of the Church to recite the Psalter or read passages in the Divine Office that were erroneous and manipulated. Neither would He have permitted Scriptural passages to be read every day in the Latin Tridentine Mass that contained errors! The whole veracity of the Church's liturgy for more than 400 years depends on the infallible Dogma of the Divine Inspiration of all Canonical Scripture!

41. Things might get worse in Seville? Yes!

42. Is it possible that the Church Palmarian could institutionally fall apart? Yes!

43. How could the Church survive? By forming groups of Palmarians that understand the situation of the Church and are disposed to fight to maintain the Palmarian Faith until our Lord sees fit to intervene in some way!

44. Why cannot those "expelled" be reconciled with Seville? Is it not possible? How can reconciliation occur when Seville has fallen into doctrinal errors and, what's more, speaks lies? You might even say about the 25 expelled that a Pope has vilely calumniated them!

45. What is the duty of the Bishops? The Bishops are obliged before our Lord Jesus Christ to defend the truth of the Church at whatever personal cost to themselves and to trust in the providence of God.

46. How should the Faithful react in these circumstances? They should recognise the just cause and have the courage to support those fighting for the Faith, morally, spiritually and financially!

47. But they will be excommunicated. It would be invalid! Many a Saint, Mystic and innocent person have been supposedly “excommunicated.
