There are some channels in your TV that you never watch. They are just there perhaps so people have to press channel change button one more time. One such channel is God TV which I conveniently keep skipping but last night I stopped on it for no apparent reason. The power-speaker on it told me that God is an Angel Investor.

I have heard people say that Angel Investors are God but saying that God is an Angel Investor is something interesting. I weighed my options and realized that it may be better than watching FTV or listening to the news for the nth time.

The point the speaker made was that God gives man not what he needs but only the seed. The biblical teaching that he was explaining was similar to what in Hinduism is preached as ‘God helps those who helps themselves’.

So whenever a man requests God to help him, the God understands his need and gives him seed capital to build whatever is required to meet the need… Nice thought. Blip! Channel Change.
