The Rocket

This is a 1987 Oldsmobile Cutlass Salon. Black with Burgandy interior. Bucket seats with floor shifter. It has power windows, locks, and driver seat. It has a HO 307 with a TH200-4R transmissoin. The paint on the car is ok and the interior is in good condition.

History Of The Rocket

Well this cutlass I found in the newspaper and the guy that was selling it wanted $3,000 for it. I really wanted the 87 cutlass because i really liked the front of it. I wanted it to be bucket seats a must and if i could find one with t-tops. This one didnt have T-tops. It wasent a big deal. So me and my father went to look at the car. It was located in East Northport in New York. I lived like twenty minutes from there. We saw the car it was in pretty good condition. My dad got the guy to lower the price to $1,000 we took it. It was sold to us in late '99. I drove it for about a year and the engine died on me. My father and me took the engine out and cleaned everything. I painted lots of parts and we got an engine for $600. It was a rebuilt '85 HO307 with bigger cam and cut pistons. Nice deal. Got some American Racing rims and i was set.
