Livtashed

(Half-Ghost)

The Livtashed is an inherited template that can be added to any living creature. Livtashed are the children of a sprite (an incorporeal undead such as a ghost or wrath) and a mortal.  Such unions are extremely rare, but under very special circumstance, but in there is a small but notable population of these creatures in Thanamortia.  The Livtashed has a macabre beauty

Age:  once a Livtashed has lived a number of years to be half way between Adulthood and Middle Age they no longer age physically, however as they pass through the age categories of Middle Age, Old, and Venerable her Int, Wis, and Cha still increase.  When a Livtashed without the Endurance or Die Hard feat reach middle age she gains light sensitivity, when she becomes old she will become exhausted if exposed to 1hr of sunlight and may only perform one action per round sunlight exposure and when she becomes venerable she only perform move and move equivalent actions, while exposed to sunlight.  Those with the Endurance feat never gain light sensitivity, it takes 12 hrs for them to become exhausted, and those with the Die Hard Feat take Non-lethal damage at a rate of 1 per hr.

Size and Type: Sub-type becomes Augmented Humanoid Monstrous Humanoid. Size and BAB, saves, and skill points do not increase.

Hit Dice: Recalculate health using one HD larger to a maximum of d12 this does not affect hit dice from classes.

Sped: remains unchanged at level one, at higher levels she gains a flight speed.

Attacks: A Livtashed’s natural attacks are treated as Magic for DR purposes.

Ability Score: Str6 Dex+6 Con–6 Int+4 Wis+4 Cha+4

Unless otherwise noted the DC of the saves of 10+ ½ Creature’s HD+ Cha Mod

Touc of the Spirit (su):  A livtashed is both corporeal and incorporeal, and this extended to all items she touches.  All equipment while worn is ghost touch as well as any weapon.

Weakness of Mixed Blod: The Livtashed is harmed by both Positive Energy damage and Negative Energy damage; She can be turned and rebuked by both those who channel positive and those who channel Negative Energy

Constitution Drain (su): A livtashed can drain 1d4 points of constitution.  To do so the livtashed must make a touch attack.  If the attack succeeds the creature makes a fort save or lose the 1d4 points of constitution.

Ghostly flight (su): A livtashed gains fly speed equal to it’s base speed movement maneuverability good.

Pseudo-Constitution (su): A livtashed can temporally add the Con points she drained to her Con score to a max of 10 + HD these points are lost after a number of minutes equal to HD

Fast Healing (su): A livtashed with 3 or more hit dices heals 1 points of damage each minute so long as it has at she is alive. At later levels this ability increases.

Fade Away (su):  by touching the astral plane a livtashed can go invisible as a standard action as if the spell of the same name (caster level equal to HD) at will, unlike the spell however the spell this ability has no duration, only ghost touch materials can go invisible, although it can be dismissed at will and ends takes any aggressive action against a living (or undead) creature. Casting a spell, even if it doesn’t harm the target, attacking are the most common ways to lose her invisibility.  However things like picking a key from someone’s pocket or whispering in their ear will not  dispel the affect.   Dispel will suppress her ability to fade away making her visible and unable to fade away for one round per caster level.

Ectoplasmic Blast (su):  a livtashed has the ability to defend itself by firing a ball of ectoplasmic energy, this substance affects solid creatures, ethereal creatures, and energy creatures alike.  She must have a line of sight and must succeed in a touch attack to deal this damage.  The blast only has a range of 10ft times her charisma modifier.

Strength Drain (su): A livtashed can drain 1d3 points of strength.  To do so the livtashed must make a touch attack.  If the attack succeeds the creature must make a fort save or lose the 1d3 points of strength.

Cry of the Ghost (su):  A livtashed can give a deathly blood chilling cry as a cone shaped breath weapon.  This is a cone extends 30ft at level 5.  The cone deals 1d6 sonic damage/ 2 HD, causes deafness for 2d10 rounds, and leaves anyone in the area shaken.  A Fort save DC 10+1/2 HD+ Cha mod, a successful save cuts the damage in half and negates the deafness and the fear affect.  A livtashed must wait 1d4 rounds before using this ability again.

Pseudo-Strength (su): A livtashed can temporally add the strength points she drained to her Con score to a max of 10 + HD these points are lost after a number of minutes equal to HD

Will of the Spirit (ex):  the livtashed adds her Charisma bonus to her willpower saves.

Taint of Mixed Blod: The Half-Vampire is no longer harmed or healed by Positive and Negative Energy, She can be turned and rebuked by both those who channel positive and those who channel Negative Energy, but they most have a clericals level = to twice the livtashed HD

Disappearance (su): a livtashed can create an affect similar to greater invisibility on itself 1/day.  Unlike the spell however while the using this ability the livtashed gains +10 ft to her movement and +4 to move silently checks.

Horrific Appearance (Su): Any living creature within 60 feet that views a livtashed immediately take 1d4 points of Strength damage, 1d4 points of Dexterity damage, and 1d4 points of Constitution damage for 1d10 min, the DC of the saves of 10+ ½ Creature’s HD+ Cha Mod  Fortitude negates.  A creature that successfully saves against this effect cannot be affected by the same livtashed’s horrific appearance for 24 hours.

Call of the Dead (su):  3/day a livtashed can add this affect to her Cry of the dead ability.  Anyone failing the Fort save of cries of the ghost also takes 1d3 Constitution damage and 1d3 strength burn.  Anyone who succeeds their saving throw take 1 point of strength damage instead. A creature that successfully saves against this effect cannot be affected by the same livtashed’s call of the dead for 24 hours.

Regeneration (su): Any weapon with magical enhancement or any spell deals normal damage to a livtashed. If a livtashed loses a limb or body part, the lost portion regrows in 3d6 days. The creature can reattach the severed member instantly by holding it to the stump.  A livtashed can heal non lethal damage at a rate of 1 point per round.

Telekinesis (Su): A livtashed can use telekinesis as a standard action (caster level equal to the livtashed’s HD). When a livtashed uses this power, it must wait 2d4 rounds before using it again.

Ethereal Jaunt (sp): a livtashed can become ethereal as per the spell ethereal jaunt, for a total number of rounds equal to her hit dice.  She does not have to use them all at  once.

Wings of the Wraith (su):  A livtashed gains fly speed equal to twice her base speed movement maneuverability perfect.

Strength of Mixed Blod: The Livtashed is healed by both Positive and Negative Energy; A Livtashed can not be turned.  Livtashed with the ability to turn or rebuke undead can now do so at their option do either.

Strengthened Life-force: A Livtashed gains a plus +4 to saves against, sleep effect, stunning, paralysis, disease, and death effects as well as immunity to poisons.

Wail of the Banse (su):  1/day a livtashed can add a death affect to her Cry of the Ghost ability by lowering the DC by 5 points.  Anyone failing the Fort save of her Cries of the Ghost drops to 0hp and loses 1d6 hp.  Anyone who succeeds their saving throw only takes 1d3 points of Constitution damage.  When this ability is applied the DC drops 5 points.  A creature that successfully saves against this effect cannot be affected by the same livtashed’s call of the dead for a week.
