ATC's
I've been spending a lot of time at:

Nervousness
A few of the objects I have made:
View of Front and Spine:
I used an old three ring binder from last semester that was made of plastic.  I painted the outside Antique White, then used various Vellum pieces, old cards, old textbook pages, asian papers and some odds and ends from a scrapbook kit.  After both sides were done, I added a layer of Gloss Finish Mod Podge and a sprinkling of large silver glitter.
View of Back:
This side includes old textbook pieces, scrapbook stuffs, rubber stamps, old photograph, vellum pieces, old game piece, and some reproduction vintage advertisements.  The rubber stamp of Memories smeared a bit with the Mod Podge, and at first I was a bit upset about that, but the more I look at it, the more it seems to be ok.  After all, memories aren't perfect....
What are ATC's?
Artist Trading Cards.

This is a set of ATC's I did for an "Ordinary Made New" ATC exchange on the Nervousness site. I took a deck of ordinary playing cards and turned them into ATC's.
I used paint, calligraphy pen and ink, rubber stamps, old photographs, duct tape (yes, that's right), fabric, drink umbrella's and some glitter.  Mod Podge to finish.
This is another set.  The theme was "Holey ATC's".  They had to have holes of some form or another in the design.
I used card stock, glue, rubber stamps, asian joss paper, polyester glitter (extremely fine), bead glitter (little bitty beads), vintage ads, and diffrent shaped hole punches
These are from a Fabric/Fiber ATC exchange.  This one includes fabric and burnt orange mylar cut into strips and randomly placed to give an Asian Character feel.  And maybe a bit of glitter.
This one is made of fabric, a Canadian coin, and a fabric flower from a lei left over from a Luau:)  Also a bit of polyester glitter.  I swear...I'm not glitter crazy;)
Ok, so maybe I AM glitter crazy.  This one is also made from fabric.  I used glue to make a design then poured on the glitter.  Later after it had dried, I went back and added gold fingernail polish to finish off the design.
I just want you to know that I did NOT add any glitter to this one...it's not my fault the fabric was a bit sparkly to begin with.  I just used a pattern fabric and added gold fingernail polish accents.
I think this one is one of my favorites.  I used a fabric background, then added half a drink umbrella with small button accents.  Then I added gold fingernail polish as well.
This is just a random set of ATC's not involved in an exchange.  The top left was not made by me.  My roommate Aimee's little sister Lauren made me my very own "demeted moose" ATC...and I love it.  The top right is just swirled fingernail polish which looks cool in person.  I later added to it and used it in a texture ATC exchange.  The bottom two are altered childrens book pages.  I added the halo and horns and tail to the left one and the captions on the right one.
