| I am not really too sure how I became the drummer for Pale Blue Sky. I think my girlfriend told me that a few of her friends needed a "pimp daddy" drummer, so I humbly volunteered my services. When I first started playing with Pale Blue Sky, my primative drum set, which sounded like metal garbage cans and a donkey getting kicked in the junk, could not handle the hardcore drumming that is required. So, I purchased new Sabian cymbals, drumheads from Remo, a double bass pedal from Pearl, high-hat and cymbal hardware by DW, and some lovely Zimms cymbal and hardware cleaner. Now days, finding myself being parted from my drums, as half our band is attending college elsewhere, I try to be creative and write music. (None of which I consider to be any good) I spend time with our lead guitarist, Mike Rani, trying to offer advice on new ideas that arise from our musical genius bassist, Jeff Anderson. Mike and I are also in charge of setting up concerts, auditions, and advertising. (Which we are too lazy to do) Shout outs to: our lyrical genius and mastermind Poon! If we didn't have the poetic, yet sarcastic lyrics that we do - well... where would we be today? French, who is always offering us advise. (Even though its the worst possible crap I have ever heard of) The Anderson family who is always more than hospitable! Jill, my #1 fan, who offers her total support (right?) and never takes me away from band practice. |
