| I started playing bass when Mike (Rani) said to me "We need a bassist. You wanna do it?". Being an apathy-ridden, lazy, worthless teen and having nothing better to do, I said yes. That week we went to a couple music stores, and before long, I had a bass and was busy attempting to play really easy Green Day songs. Thankfully, I'm a little better than that now, and do not have to attempt to play really easy Green Day songs anymore. Lately I've taken to cranking my new Peavey amp and shaking my house. When I'm not layin down the groove, if you will, which you may not, I'm probably off getting my education at Augustana College in Rock Island and learning about computers and how to write jazz basslines, which will come in handy when Pale Blue Sky starts doing jazz covers. And by "doing jazz covers" I mean there's no way in hell we'll ever do jazz covers. Pale Blue Sky practices in my basement, which is a good thing, because a) being the apathy-ridden, lazy, worthless teen, I don't have to go anywhere, and b) my parents are cool enough to put up with the house shaking and racket from my Peavey amp, and everyone else's Peavey amps as well. And to French, our #1 fan, I salute you for being even more apathy-ridden, lazy, and worthless than me but yet more enjoyable to be around than that Burress kid. |
