I am a Tibetan student from the Roof of the World. My name is Palden Kyab. I was born in Tibet in 1981 to a peasant family. My family supported me to go to school. In the school, I studied Chinese, history, georphy, maths and civics in Chinese. When I was twelves years old, my father was passed away and my family could no longer support me to attend school. So my uncle had taken me to Lhasa by seeking the permission of my mother. From Lhasa, my uncle secretly sent me to India to study.
