Well not really.

I'm all moved into the new apartment. Have been for a while actually. The living room still isn't done, but we're getting to it, slowly but surely. The above picture is a shot of part of my room, actually its my favorite part. underneath that floormat on the wall (haha) is my new queen-size Malm bed from ikea (same as Jimmy's, only a light wood finish) complete with black satin sheets and my patchwork asian-print bedspread. Pretty luxurious, I must say. I'll post pictures of the rest of my room somewhere soon, hopefully. Maybe I'll just get one of those handy blogs that Gma and Jimbo have so I can post more than one picture. We shall see.

In other news (and regarding the title of this blog...) I'm finally working again. Though I'm still sifting through a very unrelenting job market around here, I started my very very part time job today! Hooray! I'm working at Kumon, which is an after-school learning program place. Basically I grade papers for 4 hours, 2 days a week. But the kids are cute, the atmosphere is very laid back, and I text when I have nothing to do. No time cards, no dress code, no schedule, no manual labor. Also no comfortable chairs. How sad that my back is killing me when I just sat around! I'm going swimming in the morning...

Lets see, what else is new. Um... I guess thats really it for me right now. I'm basically just passing the time, as I have no money to go anywhere and do anything, and I'm seriously trying to cut back on gas useage, especially since I now have to run the AC when I drive around. So I stress-clean alot, (stress-cleaning is basically very focused, intense, ridiculous cleaning that I really only do when I can think of nothing else at all and I don't want to sit around and watch bad TV). So right now my kitchen is pretty spotless. I'm getting a lot of reading done right now. I have so much time that I can pretty much finish a book in 2 or 3 days if I feel like it, and I am finally catching up on my un-read books shelf! Meaning of course that I need to buy/borrow/otherwise obtain more books. Speaking of which... can I borrow Harry Potter 5 from anyone? I'm going to the midnight showing of the movie and I haven't read the book yet! yikes!

Alright, I guess thats it for now. I'm gonna go get some shut-eye so I can wake up, go swimming, then head out to Corona to wash my car and otherwise get out of my house. I'm feeling too domestic from being here all the time :)

Love you all! More updates as they come.
