We'll drink to that! (tea, of course)
I'm officially finished with my freshman year in college!
Finals were surprisingly easy:
1. Programming was open book. Awesome!
2. Psychology: She forgot to copy the essay questions, so it was only 55 multiple choice. Took like 20 min. Awesome again!
3. Politics: This one I actually had to study for, and I did. I had a rough start in this class, getting a 67 on the first of 3 exams. I pulled it together and got a 90 on the second one, and I'm feeling really good about the final! So yay!
The only other class I had was aerobics, no final in that one. So I'm thinkin that I pulled it off! I won't know for sure about grades until sometime next week, but I'll be sure to let you all know when I find out. 'Cause I'm excited! And I like to share when I'm excited! LoL.
So, the other big news is that my mom and I moved to Redlands last weekend! Hooray! Our apartment is about 5 minutes from campus. However, I am still living on campus next year. I want to make sure I stay involved on campus, which I am slowly starting to do. So thats cool. I finally made a few more friends on campus, (haha) as sad as that is. And a few of them are actually from Redlands, so I'll have people to hang out with during the summer!
So yes, my life right now consists of moving out of the dorm (by 2pm tomorrow) moving in and unpacking the new apartment. Oh, and finding a job. My old one ended with my work study award, which ended when school ended. So I am officially unemployed again.
::sad::
So wish me luck on the job search! I hope I can get everything straightened out here pretty quick. We're still living out of boxes and everything, 'cause I had finals to study for, so I couldn't do much unpacking. But we're getting there, slowly but surely.
Well, I guess that's it for my update. Oh, I guess I could tell you all what I'll be up to next semester!
Here's my Schedule for the Fall 2007 semester:
Monday, Wednesday, Friday:
- 9:30-11: CS 220 - Architecture and Assembly
- 11-12:20: PHYS 220 - Fundamentals of Physics I
- 1-2:20: SPAN 201 - Second Year Spanish
Tuesday:
- 11-11:50: Aerobics again!
- 1-3:50: ENGL 107 - Fiction Workshop I
Thursday:
- 11-11:50: Aerobics! Yay!
- 1-3:50: PHYS 220L - Physics Lab
So that is my ridiculously full schedule for the fall, 17 units. And I PROMISE that I'm not going to drop any classes this time. As for living arrangements, Jessie (my current roommate), and my friend Amanda (from HS) and I have a triple room in Grossmont, the all-girl building, (one of the older ones that faces the quad!), and its a corner suite, so we share a bathroom with another triple, and we have two windows! Bonus! So I'm pretty excited about that. I guess that's about it for now.
Love you all!
