I went to see the play "The Seagull" on July 28.  This was my second attempt to see the play.  Tickets are in extremely high demand and they are free.  They are given out at 1 PM on the day of the perdformance..  I went July 26 and I was turned away.  On Saturday, I arrived at 4 AM.  I was the 77th person on line.  People who came around 6 AM were turned away because they were told by the ticket distributors they will not be getting tickets.  As you can tell by the first photo, many peole brought their sleeping bags and waited in line for tickets.  The beginning of the line started here with the picture shown and it wrapped around the park.

Around 12:30 PM, everyone packed up and started to line up single file.  This is what the line looked like behind me.  I was already the 77th person and they only handed out 450 tickets that day.  Each person on this line is allowed to take up to 2 tickets.
There are my line buddies who were in front of me.  Clockwise starting from me are Michelle, Jeanann, Lisa, and Kim.  I have to thank them for helping my wait in line go by quickly.  The day was very enjoyable.  I also have to say, the weather was perfect.  We were in the shade the entire time were were waiting.

Michelle (right) and Kim (left)  were my frisbee buddies.  I have to admit, we  really sucked at it.  When Kim left, Michelle and I practiced throwing it.  I told Michelle our goal is to throw the frisbee without moving out feet.  Well after saying that, we became really good at it.

I really wish I had pics of the play itself, but the ushers in the ugly green shirts were all over the place confiscating film if they caught you taking a picture.
