This is what we uncovered. It's the bottom of a spiral staircase. Only Crusaders used the feature, and since the base of the structure was small, we assumed it was once a tower. The structure is only 1000 years old. |

We found this Islamic Lamp in the rubble of the stairs. We were suprised to see it in such good shape. I rubbed it to get my 3 wishes. Sadly, there was no genie. That lamp had to be laying in the sand for 1000 years. Amazing!! |
