   01. KISS

   02. HOTTER THAN HELL

   03. DRESSED TO KILL

Se trata de un paquete raro de los primeros tres albumes de estudio.

OBSERVACIONES:

The Originals is a reasonably rare repackaging of the first three studio ablums. It included various bonus items such as bio-cards, a sticker, literature and a booklet. Copies were also issued in Canada as a gatefold which has some additional text added to the cover (see scan above). The inner dust sleeves feature the artwork of the respective albums that they enclose. The differentiation between first and second printing is easy: on the second issue, the words "Second Printing" appear in the top right corner of the cover, see graphic representation above, and the dust sleeves are printed on glossy paper versus the matte finish stock on the first printing. PLEASE NOTE: CD copies of both "The Originals" and "The Originals II" are BOOTLEGS and are FAKE UNOFFICIAL ISSUES which are not worth the money they are often offered for.

* Certification is unclear. The Originals sold 250,000 copies, which by RIAA standards would be multiplied by the number of discs (3) for a total sales figure of 750,000, thus technically gold. However, the totals may have been applied to the original album totals...Bob? Dale? Jeff? Comments?! Cover designed by Dennis Woloch.

Long deleted solo album compilation. The South African cover also varies. Of the German versions, both feature discographies of the label's KISS output, the Bellaphon issue includes a list of singles. The Bellaphon issue also lists the songs on the back cover in the respective color of each member. This Bellaphon issue was released soon after Dynasty was released in Germany, around the time that the "Sure Know Something" single was active - the evidence for this is the fact that that singles has two covers, one which includes "Best Of Solo Albums", and the other which doesn't... The French cover also varies. There seem to be quite a wide variety of countries which issued this album...

Rare, Mexico only album. Excellent cover. "Salvat" is a book company, back in 1984 they released this kind of encycolpedia of rock, so they released various LP records from differnt artists, Bowie, Sabbath, Elvis, Stones etc... all with a differet sleeves, nowdays, it has becomed a very rare record. Strictly speaking, it is simply a repackaging of Rock And Roll Over.

   ROCK AND ROLL OVER

Rare mexican compilation, "With All The Power Of Music". There was a radio station called "Stereo 100" and they were celebrating thier 7th anniversary, in that time, the "30 aŅos Salvat" series was released" so, the people at the radio station had the idea of making a custom sleeve for their anniversary, so they made the sleeve and used the same records, the "30 aŅos de musica de rock salvat" ones.

JAPANESE REMASTER SHUFFLE-PACK

Mercury (Japan, 1997)

It's not an release as such but it's too damn cool to ignore. With each Japanese Remaster purchased the obi contained a coupon for the Shufflepack, which could only be ordered after purchasing enough remasters... thus destroying the value of the Remaster by damaging the Obi. Then you got a shufflepack which had to be folded out. Neato, though it only contained spaces for the first 8 albums!
