�What Is Internet?�

My aim to right this paragraph is only to remove any confusion in your mind about INTERNET and also to make a comprehensive sketch of INTERNET, which has now become a household term and more of a Status Symbol especially for the higher class.

You may have a few questions in your mind, whether you have never visited the web , are new to Internet or friendly with it. In my opinion the very first question in a person�s mind is about the ways, the internet can be used. INTERNET is of great use in our business life and as well as daily life. It is also a fact that INTERNET is becoming more and more frequent topic of discussion of our daily meetings, especially of teen-agers. You may be wondering why INTERNET is getting more and more popular with every passing day. There are several reasons for this, the most important being the fastest communication method on the planet. Now a question will be what does Communication means? Communication is not as simple as to chat or talk with others but it is through �Communication Technology� that we are always aware of the news from all over the world.

Being friendly with the INTERNET I will mention some of its important uses. First of all it can be used to handle and publish your information all over the world. This information can either be one�s Personal Profile or a Business Profile. Anyhow any type of information can be published. The second use may be the Electronic Mail, email in short. It is due to email that a message can be delivered in a very short time as compared to physical mail. One may also consider the use of email instead of physical mail because it is very much convenient. All you have to do is to type your message to the recipient and send it just by clicking on a single button. Besides all these you can get a form filled via internet. So the fatigue of taking a form and then submitting it after filling is also abolished. Besides all these, most people use the internet for advertising purposes. It can be considered as the best source for the publicity of your product because millions of people around the planet get a very frequent excess to the internet.

Mentioned above are some of the uses of internet. But as everything in the universe has two aspects; positive and negative, so has the internet. It is a fact that some people especially teen-agers use it just for recreation which weakens them in studies because they are unable to pay full attention and time to their studies. So it is the duty of parents to take initiative to keep an eye on their children so that they may use internet only for purposeful things. I hope this all may be enough to make you mare familiar with the advantages and disadvantages of internet.
