Consider that

- 6 = - 6

4 - 10 = 9 - 16

Add (5/2)² on both sides of above equation,

4 - 10 + (5/2)² = 9 - 16 + (5/2)²

(2)² - 2 (2) (5/2) + (5/2)² = (3)² - 2(3) (5/2) + (5/2)²

Using formula ,

(a + b)^{2 =} (a)^{2 +} (b)²

(2-5/2)² = (3-5/2)²

Taking square root on both sides of above equation,

(2-5/2) = (3-5/2)

When 5/2 is cancelled from both sides of the above equation,

2=3

So two is actually equal to three.
