National Confederation of Peasants Organizations
WELCOME TO OUR HOMEPAGE
Vision
PAKISAMA is a national confederation of 28 peasant organizations located in 30 provinces in the Philippines, and two national sectoral federations of women and fisher folks.  These organizations have a combined membership strenght of about 20,000 small farmers, marginal fisher folks and rural women.

PAKISAMA evolved from a series of grassroots consultations conducted across the Philippines in 1986, where more than 10,000 peasant leaders participated in the formulation of a genuine agrarian and aquatic reform program.

PAKISAMA was borne out of the need for a strong national alliance to push for genuine agrarian and aquatic reform, rural developmentand the protection of peasants rights.
