The original story arc that began with Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers and ended with Power Rangers in Space has always been dear to me and should've been the end of Power Rangers in my honest opinion. It would've been the perfect way to end the series, which had run for nearly five years and evaded cancellation at least once. However, money talks, and the series continues today, albeit with a new cast every season and a new team, much like it's japaneese counterpart Super Sentai. As many know Power Rangers has two motion pictures under it's belt. Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers: The Movie, and Turbo: A Power Rangers Movie. Unfortunately, the events in the first film never factored into the show, but for the first time the world got to see what Power Rangers would look like if it were American made. And I must say it was darn good. And while Turbo felt more like a multi-part episode that could've (and should've) been shown on television, it did factor into the series and was the transition from Power Rangers: Zeo, to Power Rangers: Turbo. Rumor has always
swirled that there would eventually be a third Power Rangers movie. And
while that may or may not eventually happen, I decided to put to work a
concept I've had for nearly two years now as what I would do if I ever
got the chance to write the third film.
