Price depends on how your dog walks on the lead and around other dogs, and where you are distance wise.
Walking around Tingley, Morley, and surrounding areas. References can be provided and a "test walk" can be done if required. I know how worrying it can be to have someone else looking after your dog when you are not there, I personally wouldn't let anyone but me walk my own dogs. I have a jack russell x and a retired racing greyhound and they mean the world to me.

Why dog walking?
If you're out for long periods of time of just can't get out as much as you'd like, it is an easy solution to releasing your dog's energy and giving them some fun time. Long term clients dogs are often worked with so they can be let off their leads when out walking, although this is completely the owners choice and some prefer that their dogs are on their leads all the time. No dog is let off until the recall is perfect and they are happy with the enviroment around them.

Why me?
I'm currently on a gap year from university, studying towards a degree in Illustration. I'm available until September 2008 and have always loved and lived around dogs, I actually didn't have my own dog until I was 13 so bugged my parents to take me to the rescue centre each week to walk the ones there. My first dog (which I still have) I found as a stray, he was wandering around the area and looked like he'd been a ratting reject. He had been extremely badly treated and it has taken years to get him to where he is today, he isn't "the perfect dog" but I couldn't be without him.
My other dog is a greyhound who after a career in racing was dumped at a rescue home, he'd finished his last race lame and his owners just didn't want him anymore. He was in kennels for a while and was rehomed twice, each time ending up dumped through no explanation other than him being very large and a bit of a greedy guts around food. I rescued him early last year (07) and he has been with me nearly a year, he is a star and has made me a fan of greyhounds for life. (Tia Greyhounds & Lurcher Rescue in Halifax do an amazing job helping to rehome them)
When I finish my degree next year I hope to open up my own shop, I run my own buisness called "Barker & Paws" and aim to sell animal related gift products for people and pets. My profits go towards my designs, stock, and a percentage goes towards Tia Greyhound & Lurcher Rescue. If you live in my local area you'll probably see me around the area at dog shows and events, I show my greyhound (for fun!) and occasionally have my own stall.
I live and breath animals and love living and working around them, I also love the outdoors and walking so dog walking has been something I love to do ever since I started last year.
