Those aren't in exact order. The M&G was wonderful and I got to see her
for the first time. I met so many wonderful people. Hi to all those I met
today! The crowd was small and we all had a good time w/ it. I got burnt
but I didn't care! The show was amazing. Tori was in great voice and she
seemed very energetic. I loved Putting the Damage On. Including the new
verse she added to it. Gave closure. Never Seen Blue is my fav b-side and
it made me soooo happy that she played it. YAY!!!Professional Widow
was a wonderful rendition!!! I so enjoy that song. The addition of the band
on Crusify was amazing. Took me back to the first time I heard it. Made
me remember why I love her music so much. I'm gushing! Add the
onchore of Precious Things w/ a lovely "grrrrrrrrlllll"+hand jester, ahem.
Beautiful all around. Thanks Tori for another memorable night. thanks
everyone for being soo darn nice to me and my friends. I have spoken

From New Orleans October 30, 2001:

I went to that wonderful show.....still smiling wide from it all.....

I went to that crazy meet and greet too....still wondering if tear gas should have been used.....

My hubby and I got there at about 11, and talked with some people from Florida, and went back around to the front to wait for Upgrade tickets. We ended up with front row....which is still just amazing me when I think about it....then we went back around to wait for the M&G. People were edgey....I brought stickers to give out, and went through the line letting everyone who wanted one have their pick. I met Ron (toriMODE) and he was super cool, though he called me paintedpretty, which is still complimentory....

The M&G was fab-u-lous!! We stood with the kindest people, far from the other side of the baracade and the cussing and weirdness going on....This was the first time I was able to meet Tori. She looked great, and seemed very happy. She signed my promo single, and my husband's SATY single. Then she went on down the line. I got great pics, which I'll develope soon, and then she was gone.

We met these two awesome guys from Indy and hung out with them after the M&G and the show. IF you guys see this....YOU ARE AWESOME!!!!!

We sat down at about 7:00, and rufus came out about 7:35. I liked his music, though the words were coming out a little garbled....come to find out later....he was plastered during his set.... That makes me laugh....but I have his songs stuck in my head now....

Tori's set started with Bonnie & Clyde....I squirmed during the whole thing...cause that song creeps me out....
I'm sure everyone knows the set list by now, so I won't run down it, but I will say I LOVED Honey....Sugar is the total bomb, Tear made me cry it was soo lovely, Me & a Gun was VERY emotional, Cool on Your Island!!!!!!!!! ah ahahhaa hhaa haa!!! I love that fricken song!! And this was the first time I had EVER heard Black Swan....very powerful.....

The night was truly magic....wish Halloween could have been the same......We went to the second M&G right after the show, she came out, and I said "thank you for a beautiful show." She put her hands to her chest and smiled at me, "No, thank you" and then waved in that little way she does. I was touched....she is amazing. We left...but I wanted the night to last forever.....still do.

From Houston October 31, 2001:    Halloween

hey everyone!

Went to that neato skeeto show last night.....ahhhh, my second and last show on this tour. And yeah, she was kinda sedate. She did this cute little improve about the wurly though...."she's been around like some of you girls have been around" and something about a jackolantern.....swooped right into a very different rendition of Crusify. The mask she came out in was the same one from New Orleans, just with different tulle fabric around it.

Bachlorette(?) was my absolute fav of the night....but Phantom was awesome too....set list was awesome. Glad this New Orleanian could catch House of the Rising Sun too.

We came after the first M&G at about 5 or so. I had my laminate on, and there were a few people still at the baracades. This man came shaking his fist at me, "Those people with the passes just like you, they pushed everyone out of the way and got in front. That's not fare, why do you think you can do that?" I was baffled as I had just stepped out of my car from a six hour drive to the show. That's how I learned about the rude denters from earlier. I had to explain to the man that we aren't all assholes. But I don't think he really believed me.....sigh.
We did go to the M&G after the show though, waited 2 hours for her to come out. Steve and Joel were telling everyone to be really quiet. We assumed it was for Tori. She came out, looking very tired, and signed a few things, but was not very chipper. Who can blame her, after a night like that. Come to find out, we all were being quiet cause Tash was asleep on the Tour Bus, and they didn't want us waking her up.  We saw the car seat in the tour bus too....it was cute!

I sat behind and in front of some drunk shits.....ruined some parts for me....but all together a great show.
