It was in the "Tower Field"(field 3, I believe), and my team(blue) was on the side that was most accessible to the inside of the tower. As soon as the game started, me and Dad(Rick) ran like mad to the tower, while it seemed like everybody else was getting picked off. About two seconds later after we had reached the tower, Dad got shot in the groin about three times by an "unknown force" known as "Big Sexy"(he was later called "Benedict Olean" for his actions). So basically at that point I was on my own. And yes, Chuck was blue(laughs). So, I sat and waited inside the tower until when I peeked my head out, I could see a red crouching behind a fence, directly parallel with me. From where they were at they were facing the blue flag, but they couldn't see me in the tower. So, I pumped a few shots into the person and ducked backed into the tower so they would not discover my hiding spot. Doing the same thing, I got about four kills(including a really sweet one where I nailed the guy in the tan pants[Mr. Jones]: about four rounds went square to his back!). Later on, there were a couple of "little people" headed straight for our flag; I believe I was the only one alive at this point(on blue). Anyway, one of them snatched the flag, with the other one covering him. Acting quickly, I popped out and started pumping paint into their general direction. I know I got at least one of them, but the other one got some cover and escaped...probably the guy with the flag. So I figured I should just stay in the tower and wait for some more sniping opportunities. Eventually, a guy comes along that I spotted, but he also spotted me, and he ran up to a tree near the tower entrance. The bugger about this guy was that he was smaller than the width of the tree(I mean, like a rail!). I couldn't get a clean shot at him. So finally, knowing me, I decided to charge out and smoke 'em outta the tree. I ran out, shooting like mad all around the tree, sidestepping and such. But eventually, he did nail me(barely). After I was hit, I gave the signal that..I was....I can't say it any other way. Then, from around the other side of the tower, another one of those Lilliputians starts opening fire on me. So I had to get cover behind a spool just so I could get my fricking barrel plug in. All in all, I was happy with literally taking down half the red team single-handedly =]) |
