The second part of the theory evolved from a rejection of so-called
media "professionals" who insist that video be broadcast quality, which is total
elitism...yeah sure ..the only technical problem is glitches ,,which is signal
loss and can drop out a transmitter...but other than that purely technical
consideration, it doesn't matter about picture quality..
It is also a
rejection of a slick machine that is corrupt of original ideas
..An industry that is motivated primarily by profit. Media
orgs, tv stations,and newpapers are essentially businesses that have as their
sole purpose making money.
TV stations sell advertising . The more popular a show is , the more they can charge for advertising because more people watch and see the ads..Therefore they must produce interesting shows that people will watch so that they can charge top dollar for the ads.....It is a business designed to make money..
