Pokemon: Champions of the World Storyline

Basically, Ash and his friends have finally collected all of his badges and won the Johto competition and he heads back to Pallet where he meets with May Oak, Gary's older sister of whom he had a secret crush on ever since they had met, and she tells him about the Champion Continent where the World Championship is held every year. And being the way he is Ash wants to go off again, but May and Professor Oak warn him about the rules of the Championship Continent - it's a whole new place with a whole new set of rules. Ash didn't listen and still wanted to go and May explained how you could get in.

May: Ash...the only way you could get in is if you've won all the neccessary badges from at least three different leagues. Okay? Well, first you have to register. You don't have to do it at the Pokemon Centers there, there's a boat that goes to the Champion Continent every week from Vermillion City to Ares City where you can find a Laboratory that belongs to a nice Pokemon researcher called Professor Rose. She'll tell you a bunch of interesting things and you can register there to start your Championship Journey. And lets see...there are two ways of getting into the World Championship tournament...one, you have collected all the neccessary badges in three different leagues in order to participate in them...or...you beat every single Champion Continent Gym Leader and collect their badges to show the guards at the Championship Stadium which also acts as a Gym because the World Champion resides there and always has to do battle. But only trainers who qualify are allowed to battle the champion and take his or her place before the next tournament begins. The lastest one has lastest for around three years....

And so another adventure begins in Pokemon: Champions of the World!!!
