Rules
When you're starting out
1. You have to read everything before registering.
2. You may only get one Pokemon when you start out, unless you're an original character from that dimension who have a full arrangement of Pokemon (i.e. if you choose Misty, you already have a certain amount of Pokemon already, like Togepi, Staryu etc...). Unless the webmasters give you an extra Pokemon or two that they pick.
3. All new trainers start out at Ares City at Professor Roses' Laboratory.
4. When you're starting out, you can only use one mode of transportation unless the webmasters RP you into acquiring another mode of transportation like a bike or something).
5. New trainers will receive 6 Champion Balls (Pokeballs only for this continent, explained later on...), one of which will be occupied by your first picked Pokemon.
Catching and Battling Pokemon
1. You may not RP battling with a Pokemon until one of the moderators RPs a random Pokemon into play and the first Trainer that finds it may be able to battle and catch it, but beware, sometimes they run away and won't be found for a while!
2. When catching/battling a wild Pokemon the moderator RPing the wild may take a while, so don't get frustrated, go with another RP as you wait for a reply. Don't continue until the other is ready for the next attack.
3. When battling other trainers, e-mail one of the moderators to see if he or she could watch and referee your battle. They'll decide how much damage you take or give and on who will be the victor. Only you may choose the amount of Pokemon to use, unless it's a Gym or Tournament Battle.
4. When in a Gym Battle, you must contact the Gym Leader and a moderator. Then abide the other rules before this one.
5. Win or lose, your Pokemon will gain experience and level up.
Using/selling/buying items and handling money
1. There will be some shops and you'll be assigned a certain amount of money. When buying, your money will diminish. When selling, you'll get money back.
2. When defeating a trainer, he or she must pay you a tenth of what money they have. When you lose you must do the same for the trainer that beat you.
3. You can use items in a battle, but you'll lose your turn immediately and the other trainer will have his/her turn.
4. You can drop items.
In a Gym
1. When in a Gym, you can challenge a Gym Leader directly or just explore the place.
2. When you win, you will receive a badge and it'll appear on your character's page.
3. You'll get an item if you win against the Gym Leader, there's plenty of places to visit in a gym besides the stadium.
When in a tournament...
A tournament only lasts for a time and when a trainer is called up, they must come forth and start the battle within a day of their calling otherwise they will be dsiqualified. It goes for the same if you take too long to respond. You are allowed to forfeit, but that means forfeiting the whole tournament and quitting, so be sure what you're up against before going in. The same rules of battle apply here.
There will be more when they're thought of...
