1937: However, Ernest remarried on 25 September 1937 to Catherine Cusack (known as Helena Kate Cusack).
1946: Both Ernest and Catherine where listed at 24 Lucy Street, Milton. Ernest was still a labourer and Catherine home duties. They were listed at this address together until 1949.
1950: Catherine was listed in the Electoral Roll on her own at 24 Lucy Street, Milton.
1952: Ernest reappeared on the Electoral Roll with Catherine at 24 Lucy Street, Milton, with the occupation of Carpenter. They were listed together at this address until 1955.
1956: Catherine died on 31st December of Asthma at 60 years old. She was burried at the Tweed Heads Cemetery, NSW, with other members of her family.
1958: Ernest was listed with his sister-in-law Annie Cusack at 18 Woodhill Avenue, Coorparoo and he was a carpenter. He was listed at this address until 1963.
1964: Ernest died on 19 December 1963 at the Princess Alexandra Hospital, Brisbane, of Carcinomatosis and Carcinoma of the stomach at the age of 57 years old. He was buried on his own at Balmoral/Bulimba Cemetery, Brisbane.
Things worthy of noting
Edward George Lindon was the only child listed on Ernest's death certificate. No children were listed on Catherine's death certificate.
On Ernest's Marriage certificates and Death certificate his mother's maiden name is listed as Baker, not Barratt as on his Birth certificate.
Catherine Cusack was born on 13th June 1896 in Brisbane, Queensland, and was 41 years old when she married Ernest, 11 years his senior. She was a Cafe Proprietress living at 164 Edward Street, Brisbane.
Ernest's sister-in-law Annie Cusack was listed on his death certificate as the informant living at 18 Woodhill Avenue, Coorparoo, same as Ernest.
On Ernest's second Marriage certificate (1937) Ernest's listed occupation is a Miner and place of usual residence was Spring Bluff.
