The girls are attacked by a demon who feeds on earthly desires and kills his prey by creating worlds they desire for them until it ultimately kills them. Each sister finds herself in an alternate reality. Paige's world is a place where everyone knows she is a witch except her, Phoebe's world reflects Jason's desires, while in Piper's world Wyatt has a cold, the book of shadows is blank and spells don't work.
