4x01 - Charmed Again Part 1 |
|
|
|
Mourning the death of Prue, Piper and Phoebe must now come to terms with the loss of their oldest sister and the loss of the power of three.
When Paige shows up at Prue's funeral, thinking she may be the girls sister as she was adopted out, she greets Phoebe, who then has a Premonition of Paige being attacked and killed, so she along with Cole go to investigate. They discover Paige can Orb meaning she is a whitelighter. Piper summons Grams demanding answers then the truth is revealed, that Paige is the offspring of Patti and Sam's affair, making her Piper and Phoebe's half-sister-witch and half-whitelighter. When Paige shows up at the Manor, wanting to find out who she really is, she finds out that she is in fact their sister, The Power of Three is united, but Paige finding out her true origin runs out upset.
NOTE:
- Prue's date of birth and death are revealed. 28 October 1970 - 17 May 2001.
- Paige orbs for first time.
- Rose McGowan is added to the Opening Credits.

4x02 - Charmed Again Part 1 |
|
|
|
Paige, now knowing her true origin turns to boyfriend Shane for support and having to answer questions to the police about her attacker. She shows up at the church where she was dumped looking for answers, when Piper and Phoebe show up telling Paige she has a magical power. Paige, in denial goes to walk out when she Telekinetically Orbs a candle. Paige's boyfriend Shane gets taken over by The Source, who tries to lead Paige to the dark side, now that she is a witch, which leaves her a window of opportunity to be evil.
NOTE:
- Paige's date of birth is revealed. It is 2 August 1977.
- Paige Telekinetically Orb's and assistantly Heal's for the first time.
- Paige meets her biological mother for the first time. |

4x03 - Hell Hath No Fury |
|
|
|
Paige takes the Book of Shadows into her work to cast spells which help her co-workers. However, she is unaware of the potential consequences of her actions.
Piper, who is filled with anger over the death of Prue and the recent actions of Paige, is possessed by a member of a supernatural band of vigilantes known as Furies. Shortly afterwards, she is turns on those around her, including Leo, Phoebe and Paige.
NOTE:
- This is the first time that Piper refers to Paige as her sister. |

4x04 - Enter The Demon |
|
|
|
When making a potion, a put-upon Paige wishes to have life like the more experienced Phoebe and inadverently switches bodies wither her. While they cover up with switch over so Piper doesn't get angry, Piper herself gets involved with a Chinese Zen Master. His student, Yen Lo, has turned to the dark side and been "killed" by the Master's daughter, but is managing to stay alive by hiding out in Limbo. Yen Lo takes his former master prisoner and holds him in Limbo, then goes after the daughter. Paige and Phoebe deal with each other's romantic entanglements, until Cole kisses Paige. They then figure out how to switch souls back. Then they use the potion to switch Piper's soul with the Master's and he helps them get to Limbo and defeat Yen Lo and send him on to his next karmic life. |

4x05 - Size Matters |
|
|
|
Piper, Phoebe and Paige are shrunk to a height of five inches when they walk into a trap set by a demon called Gamil.

- Piper's club gets renamed "The Spot" for a while until she decides to keep it "P3"

4x06 - A Knight To Remember |
|
|
|
Paige accidently summons a medieval knight, who believes Paige is the love of his life. However, the knight is under the influence of an evil sorceress.
NOTE:
- Paige's past self could conjour the elements of Electricty and Wind.
- Paige moves into the Manor.
- Jesse Woodrow's first appearance as Glen Belland. |

4x07 - Brain Drain |
|
|
|
The Source sends Piper into a deep coma, where she perceives an alternate reality, which leaves her in a mental institution in the Manor, now called Halliwell Hospital. Phoebe and Paige must find a way to to go to Piper's reality and save her from giving up her powers while she is delusional.
Meanwhile, in Piper's reality, she along with Phoebe and Paige escape from the hospital and Piper gets hit by a car. |

4x08 - Black As Cole |
|
|
|
Cole must face his true demonic nature when he is faced with another demon who is mistaken as the murderer of local witches who belong to the same coven. Meanwhile, Cole proposes to Phoebe while Piper and Leo consider their future involving children.

- Cole proposes to Phoebe.
- Belthazor has been vanquished from Cole. |

4x09 - Muse To My Ears |
|
|
|
The Halliwell sisters must find a way to release Muses which have been abducted by a warlock who is attempting to build an evil faction in the absence of The Source. |

4x10 - A Paige From The Past |
|
|
|
With Leo as her guide, Paige goes back in time to her teen years, in an attempt to resolve her feelings about the accident that killed her parents. Meanwhile, Piper must prevent ghosts, Lulu and Clyde, who have inhabited Phoebe's and Cole's bodies, from fulfilling their missin.

- Paige's parents died in a car crash. |

4x11 - Trial By Magic |
|
|
|
While Phoebe performs jury duty in a murder case, she is hit with a premonition about the real killer and must convince the rest of the jury that the defendant is not guilty. The proglem is the only way to do so, is to prove the existance of magic. Meanwhile, Phoebe and Paige and Leo try to help Phoebe find the real murderer but they stumble upon a gang of rat demons involved and they must solve the crime and keep Paige's friend out of danger before Phoebe gets thrown of jury.
NOTE:
- Phoebe applies for a job at ? and unsuccessfully receives it.

4x12 - Lost And Bound |
|
|
|
Wanting to protect a ten-year-old orphaned boy who is a firestarter, Piper and Leo try to hunt the demon before he can deliver the kid to The Source. Meanwhile, Phoebe is given Gram's wedding ring by Cole but to their surprise the ring has been cursed to transform the wearer into a traditional 1950's suburban housewife.

- Cole proposes to Phoebe for the second time. |

4x13 - Charmed And Dangerous |
|
|
|
The Source breaks an age-old agreement between good and evil by stealing The Hollow, an ancient vapor which he uses to absorb first Piper's and then Paige's powers. Phoebe must allow Cole to help them in spite of having had a premonition that involved Cole sacraficing his life to save her from evil. But there may be more to the Premonition Phoebe just can't see.
NOTE:
- As of the end of this episode Cole is possessed by the evil of The Source. |

4x14 - The Three Faces Of Phoebe |
|
|
|
Phoebe develops a case of cold feet over marrying Cole and casts a spell which brings a young innocent Phoebe and an old cynical Phoebe to the Manor to help her make a decision. Meanwhile, while Cole is horrified to find that The Source is now taking over his entire being, The Source's chief rival, who believes The Source is dead, is convinced by The Seer to kill The Charmed Ones in order to earn the allegiance of the entire Underworld.
NOTE:
- Paige can now Orb from one location to another. |

4x15 - Marry-Go-Round |
|
|
|
As Phoebe prepares for her wedding day, she is completely unaware that The Source has taken over Cole's body, a plot that will likely ruin the big event. Meanwhile, when The Seer tells The Source that if he can marry Phoebe in the "dark way", it will insure that their future son will be the most powerful evil being, ever. |
|
|
|
4x16 - The Fifth Halliwheel |
|
|
|
Amongst newlyweds, Phoebe & Cole and already married, Leo & Piper, Paige begins to fell like a fifth-wheel but she continues her suspicions about Cole. Meanwhile, The Source plots to impregnate Phoebe with his evil spawn.
NOTE:
- Phoebe gets a job as an Advice Columinst at The Bay Mirror.
- Rebecca Balding (Elise) also appeared in The Fourth Sister (Aunt Jackie). |

4x17 - Saving Private Leo |
|
|
|
When two ghosts from Leo's past return to seek revenge, Leo faces his demons by submitting, causing Piper's life to be threatened, leaving Paige to deal with the situation. Meanwhile, Cole tries to convince Phoebe they need a home of their own.
NOTE:
- Phoebe and Cole move out. |
|
|
|
4x18 - Bite Me |
|
|
|
A vampire queen tries to dethrone Cole as ruler of the Underworld and attempts to turn Paige against her sisters by turning her into a vampire. Meanwhile, Phoebe begins to feel under the weather.
NOTE:
- Phoebe finds out shes pregnant. |

|
|
4x19 - We're Off To See The Wizards |
|
|
|
Phoebe tells Piper and Paige that she is pregnant and that Cole is the father. Meanwhile, Piper and Paige team up with a Wizard to stop the coronation of the new Source, unaware that it is Cole and Phoebe is soon to be his Queen of the Underworld/
NOTE:
- Phoebe's unborn son gives her the power of Teleportation and Pyrokinesis.
- Phoebe turns to the dark side along side Cole, to become Queen of the Underworld. |

4x20 - Long Live The Queen |
|
|
|
Phoebe accepts her new role in Cole's life, but she still sets out to save an innocent after she has a premonition and even seeks her sister's help in protecting the man. Meanwhile, Piper's heart doesn't seem to be in it as she prepares to defend her family against any new threats from the Underworld..
NOTE:
- The Charmed Ones vanquish The Source for good, but this also vanquishes Cole.
- At the end of this episode Phoebe is no longer evil, although her unborn son is, leaving her the powers. |

4x21 - WombRaider |
|
|
|
The Seer plans to steal Phoebe's unborn baby so she can raise the child to become the next Source and prevent the throne from passing on to another demon. Meanwhile, the baby begins to take over control of Phoebe's body, which proves dangerous to Paige and anyone else that hates its father.
NOTE:
- The Charmed Ones destroy The Seer and the entire Underworld Council.
- Phoebe gains another power, however, the name is unkown.
- At the end of this episode Phoebe is no longer pregnant, causing her to lose her 3 new powers. |

|
4x22 - Witch Way Now? |
|
|
|
When the Angel of Destiny offers the sisters a chance to relinquish their powers and lead normal lives as a reward for vanquishing The Source of All Evil, their decision is put on the back burner, while they try and avoid an FBI agent who has them under surveilance and deal with Cole's calls for help, who is trapped in another dimension, holding onto his love for Phoebe.
NOTE:
- Piper finds out she's pregnant.
- The Angel of Destiny closes the Manor door. |
