Call for papers

Challenges, old or new, are particularly meaningful when they concern our interaction with the environment.
However, today they seem to be more significant than ever. One can hardly imagine topics able to stimulate a larger diversity of types of approach, of tools and instruments, of opinions and attitudes, and a more deeply rooted and fruitfully developed interdisciplinary attitude, than those referring to the environment.

For its next volume, Paideusis-JICS invites contributions highlighting interdisciplinary approaches to challenges of our environments.

Articles and letters are expected to address topics like:

• challenges of physical environments;

• environmental change;

• natural and human-induced hazards;

• environment and community management;

• traditional knowledge and the environment;

• environmental discourse;

• environment and religion;

• dynamics of anthropic environments: from small to large scale;

• virtual environments;

• environmental cognition;

• signs and the environment,

as well as other topics of relevance for past, present or future challenges of our environments.
