Monday 25 September - A Night at the Opera
"We skipped the getting pissed [over the weekend] and went to dsee an opera instead - I needed something fairly calm after Cassie had dragged me on dodgy Eastern European fair rides in the city park.
"I'm off to Berlin tomorrow (12 hours on the train - nightmare) and then I'm home on Friday - then horror of horrors I won't have access to the Internet any more which means I'll actually have to pick up the phone and talk to people!"
"They are advising people not to travel to Prague because of the IMF conference so I can't go which is a bit of an arse but never mind - still Prague won't be going anywhere, so I can go for a weekend some time.
"The weather here was baking hot until Cassie arrived and since then it's been a bit cold and wet which suits me but not her."

Thursday 28th October - The Final Chapter
"I heard from the others that Bratislava wasn't that hot and that it was really difficult to find places to stay, plus I wanted to spend all day yesterday at Berlin Zoo with my furry friends - felt most at home with the animals and was well impressed with the aquarium - spent ages looking at the piranha and other evil animals.
"Been to the museum of modern art today and then for a walk to see the largest remaining part of the wall. Weather is so warm. Hopefully my photos will come out!"
