"Allenatore Nikolo" back in Ioannina.
The well known to the fans of PAS coach Nikos Anastopoulos, is the new boss of the team. The famous coach and former player prefered to come in the capital of Epirus for PAS than to remain in Athens where he was training Kallithea." Allenatore" was born on 22/01/1958 in Athens. As a player had an impressive palmarais with Panionios, Olympiakos Pireus, Avellino(Italy), Ionikos and of course the National team of Greece. It worth to say that he was awarded with the European "golden boot". As a coach he was involved in the preparations of teams such as Juventus and Inter Milan, and he attented seminars of the following major European coaches such as Kapelo, Scala, Erickson,Lipi, Fan Gaal. This is the third time that he takes the control of PAS.The first time he made a very positive season in the 2nd National League but unfortunatelly he did not managed to promote the team. In the second time he had a quite impressive performance in the second round of the 1st National League championship. In that year ethically he was a winner, because he took the control of the team (which had only 10 points) and managed to recreate it. Beloved and admired by the fans, he was the best solution for this specific difficult period of the club. |
