Oh where can you be

I am so desolate

Your comfort, I cannot feel

Reach out thy hand to me

So mighty and powerful

And with your wonderful love

Oh God, please shower me

For I cannot face another day

Without feeling my Lord

There's no lonelier feeling

In this whole world

But I am praying

This prayer tonight

And now I know

In the morning, I'll see the light

For While I sleep

You'll heal my sorrow

Speak peace to my soul

I'll be much better tomorrow

How wonderful to know

You're always there

To lift the burdens

I can no longer bear

I'm so grateful, My Father, 

You won't leave me down long

Because your love, well, it's that strong
