Du hast mich. But oh well, I only speak the truth. I'm a PS2 fan but dear god, the machine is about as stable as a cup of espresso. It was programmed in Japan by a bunch of little kids who got paid by the cents per hour in poorly maintained factories. Despite the injuries of young workers and the lack of will and determination, Sony pressed on. They made their workers work hard for an October 2000 deadline. And when that day came, millions of SHITTY, FLAWED, POORLY CONSTRUCTED PlayStation 2s were delivered to America. Fan-fuckin-tastic. I bought my PS2 back in April of 2001 after searching for months for one. I got it, and wow--it wouldn't read my Metal Gear Solid 2 demo that I got with Zone of the Enders, a shitty mech game. Well fuck me tender, I thought. I slammed the top of my PS2 with my fist. It made a loud grinding noise and made a circular ring around my disc. It was my fault, but I feel the need to complain. After I got it replaced (Sony said it was FREE because I was under warranty. Never mind the $20 shipping charge!) it didn't read my SSX disc either. Actually I played the game and it fucking froze on me. I realized that Sony didn't replace my PS2, they did nothing to it. This is because I had a light scratch on top of my PS2 before, and when I realized that this scratch was there AFTER I got it back from Sony, I had been FUCKED UP THE ASS. Now my PS2 will give me a Disc Read Error every time I watch certain DVDs (that are as clean as my ass, which means it's damn clean). Go to hell, Sony. It's funny that the Xbox doesn't have this problem, but then again, the Xbox only has a couple good games. So does Gamecube. I'm biased, fuck yourself. |
