| Ok, for those of you who don't know much about me. Here's a little sumpin' , sumpin': I was born in Chambersburg, Pennsylvania on July 25th, 1980. I was the eldest child, my sister, Neesha, came along when I was nearly six. I stayed in Chambersburg all my life. At 9 I started to play the viola, at 11 the tuba. I spent most of my time when I was younger playing with the neighbor kids, namely, Leah and Paul. We were all sure we were going to save the world by forming The Animals' Rights Club. We took ourselves very seriously. I went to CASHS (Chambersburg Area Senior High School) when I was 15, having joined nearly every musical ensemble there was, and spent most of my time in the Music Wing, partly because I did so much music, partly because I was totally obsessed with a boy, Zac, who was even more into music than me. My senior year I took a class called Advanced Communications where I made a music video for the first time. I then decided I wanted to direct films rather than persue my life long ambition to become a doctor. I then took a year off of school following graduation and did nothing. :) Fun times. But not really, not from where I'm from. In 1999-2000 I attended Temple University in Philadelphia, PA and majored in Film and Media Arts but decided after one semester to go back to taking Biology classes and my life long ambition to become a doctor only to regret that decision and wish I'd taken more film classes. I met my husband, Chris by accident in a chat room in Yahoo in 1998. We talked one or two nights then didn't talk again until he, for no apparent reason at all, decided to PM me almost exactly a year later. We've been "together" officially since December 17, 1999 and were married on the 22nd of June, 2002. Oh how the years do pass. Chris has finally, gotten a decent job writing software and whatnot, for a company. It's located in Preston, Lancs. and so we bought a house in Preston and now have no money. But, we're happier than we were, I think. |

| Other stuff about me (jesus, I'm boring!): | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Hmm....where to start....oh yes, how about politics and religion! Always a harsh chord in peoples' ears. First things they tell you not to talk about at a party. Politics: I'm a Democrat. Yeah, so deal with it. I want free health care, I think gays should be allowed in the military, and damn it, I am Pro-Choice! So if you're republican, please go here. Religion: Well, first and foremost, I think that organised religion especially Christianity is just another very shrewd way of making money. They say "Give us money, It will go to do God's will." BULLSHIT. And what's with their opinion on Homosexuality. They say not to judge people. Then why is it that all the religios people all also seem to be the closeminded racist bigots. They're the first ones to turn around then and judge other people. And to add to that, so many churches seem to be meeting grounds for RICH, WHITE MALES. The church gives them a reason to tell their wives to stay at home and to "...get back in the kitchen and make me some pie....". Now that I'm done spouting off about Chritianity I do have to say that I believe that if going to church every Sunday and doing whatever they do there makes you happy, then by all means, that's the thing for you. Just DON'T come to my door at 7 AM on a Tuesday morning asking me if I've invited Jesus into my heart cause I'll tell you straight where to go. Now, as far as what I believe in, well, that's a difficult question. I have read numerous books and talked to loads of people and if I had to chose a religion, it would be Wicca. I think it suits me the best. Quite frankly though, I don't really do any spells or celebrate any of Sabbats (I did, however, thank the Goddess for a lovely fiest of Chinese food on Imbolc though). So right now, I don't really want to say whether I'm this or that because I'm not. I lack the discipline to take on a religiong with any seriousness. |

| And now for something completely different: | ||||||||||||||||||||
| Ok, so that's enough serious stuff. Now on to less important stuff. Like....um...well, hobbies. I like to play musical instruments, viola and baritone (I switched from Tuba, wouldn't you?) are my main areas of "expertise" (ha ha ha). I like to travel, although for some reason the only place I seem to get to is England. I like to cycle, even though after I've done it for a while I can't sit down for a week. I love to go to Wales. It is the most beautiful place on earth. I think I'm going to convince Chris to take me hiking op in Snowdonia sometime and get the whole hiking kit. Should be fun! I like to think of myself as artistic. I like to draw but well, I either need to practice more or I just need more talent. I recently got some acrylics and made a mess with them. I love horseback riding. I used to take lessons and was told I could do it professionally. Unfortunately, like a lot of things, I can't afford it. I LOVE British Television. "Are You Being Served?" is my favorite. Then there's "Dr. Who" and "Spaced" and "Red Dwarf" and I just love Graham Norton. He's the best. I nearly forgot "Monty Python". I'd love to direct a film someday. Like a huge budget one set in the past or a fantasy world (a la Willow or Lord of the Rings). So I'm thinking of going back to school for that. Who knows what the future will bring. Anyway, I guess that's all I really want to write. If anyone can think of any thing they want to know, I have a guest book. Leave a message, I'll get back to ya!....Not that I'm that interesting that you'd need do that. |
