Pageant Prayer
Now I lay me down to sleep
Next to my heart my crowns I keep
Guide me with your grace so bright
Let me shine in those stage lights.
My heart is pounding, my stomach churning
For the stage my heart is yearning
As I stand in my glitzy dress
I pray we all do our best
Now all is done and crowning begins
I’m so glad I made new friends
Thank you God—they’re my best win!
This was written for my beautiful daughter
Kassi and all her sisters she has met in pageants.
