Ooooh, the ongoings that took place before THIS picture was snapped. Well, first of all, Kelly and Katie were selling programs before the night show on March 30th. While we were hard at work, Bill the merchandise guy went outside... for a cigarette or something... and spotted the "My Matt Mix" CD Katie had burned for Kelly. The whole CD is Matt... as Roger mostly. Anyway, Bill comes back and says "Oh, I've got to show this to Matt." After much begging and pleading on Kelly's part, Bill was not swayed. He told us a while later that he'd showed it to Matt as he was coming down the stairs from 'Will I'... and Matt wanted to hear it. Kelly, being the die-hard Matt fan she is (and Katie, being the fantabulous girl she is... offering to burn Kel another CD), decided to GIVE the CD to Matt.
So... that's what we did. We wrote this web address in the cover and gave it to Matt. After making some very adorable remarks about it... he thanked Kelly (*I* burned the damn thing... but did *I* get a thank you?? NOOOOOOOOOOOO. Pfft.) and this pic was taken.
~* Side Note from Katie: I'm not REALLY bitter that I didn't get a thank you. Just to point that out. I was re-reading this while updating the page... and, though I meant it to be funny, it just sounds selfish. Just wanted to clear that up. That is all. |
