            This is a list of listservs specifically to serve people like you!

              There are several list servs that you can subscribe to at egroups.com. Just go to egroups and become a member (it's free)and then you can sign up for as many lists as you wish! Here are a few below that I know about:

              CLINK (Adult Children of Incarcerated Next of Kin) Is your mom or dad in prison? Join this group and talk to others in the same situation.

              ex-pris_opportunity - I started this list to talk to others about the fears, problems and concerns regarding your loved one being released.

              families-of-inmates - A support group for families/friends with someone in prison.

              INPRISON - Have a family member in a Indiana prison? Subscribe to this group and get in touch with others in the hoosier state.

              hopeforconvicted - Another group for friends or families with loved ones in prison.

              life_sentence - For family members with a relative in prison doing life.

              lilwildflower - legal updates on California's 3 strikes law also issues relating to American Indians as well.

              LostAngels - For parents that have a child in prison.

              matesdoingtime - A support group for husbands and wives with their mate in prison.

              NJACT - A listserv with information regarding the New Jersey prison system.

              PRISON-H - Interested in the history of prisons in the U.S.? This mailing list may be for you.

              prison-reach - list with info. on prison reform, prison ministry.etc.

              prison love - A support group for women with boyfriends or husbands in prison.

              prisonpals - Want to write to someone in prison? Check this list out!

              sisters_in_struggle - Huge support group (with lots of e-mail!) for women with loved ones in prison.

              the-convicts-co-op - a list for inmates, ex-prisoners, POW's and families etc. with info. on research, filing forms, appeals and much more.

              BmomsDown - Anyone who cares about birthmoms that are in prison.

              Inmatelove - For anyone with a significant other in prison.

              loved_ones - for friends and family members of prisoners. (this is a list I started.)

              london_oh_prisoners - For anyone that has a loved one incarcerated in London Correction Institution in Ohio or in ANY Ohio prison.

              menwithwomeninprison - A support group for men with a girlfriend/wife in prison.
