| Cast the magickal circle in the following manner; Begin at the north walk clockwise once around the circle with your athame blade pointing out and down and slowly raising it until you intone the circle casting. When you reach the north the 3rd time your athame should be raised directly vertical towards the sky. While doing this say : Black and red, white and gold rising circle taking hold. new moons blessing bright and clean full moons magick sight unseen. (you should have made one pass around the circle, now walk the circle again reciting the next 4 lines briefly stopping at the quarters) North is earth and east is air, mighty ones attend me here. South is fire and west is sea, ancient ones please be with me. ( you should have made the second pass, walk the circle one last time reciting the following lines) Rise, o circle, queens great cloak hunters might and Witches oath planets spin and kiss the stars hearken to the Witches charge! Make the magick make the change nothing is beyond my range between the worlds this circle sealed (tap your athame on the ground once) and naught within shall be revealed As above and so below, as i say, it shall be so! |
