July 4, 5 & 6, 2003.
At Awakening Isis, we will celebrate The Great Goddess, The all-giving Mother, who is Nature. There are a lot of things that are still in the development stage and information to be gathered before we can provide definitive answers to everything. However we can tell you this much:
The Festival will be three days of camping, healing, magickal rituals, workshops, dancing and drumming around the fire, sharing of stories and talents and much more. We are dedicated to creating a safe space in which people can experience the Divinity of Nature, where a sense of interfaith tolerance and community prevails.
We are working hard now to create an environment that provides the opportunity for rest and healing, as well as liberal doses of fun for those who want it.
We welcome families and plan to provide adults and children alike the means by which they can contribute to and gain from building community. We actively seek to attract healers of a wide range of traditions and faiths.
Musicians, we invite you to bring your acoustic instruments. We are planning to have a fire with drumming and dancing as well as a fire for music and/or conversation. We are still verifying some of the Festival costs so the final price of admission has yet to be determined.
The Festival Site, Whispering Pines Campground is located near Curran Ontario - about a third of the way from Ottawa to Montreal.
We will have a website up in the near future and will disseminate the URL to this Yahoo Group.
