This is me

Hello!

My name's Barbara and I'm from Lublin, a city in south-east Poland.

I've always lived here, but I travelled to other cities and countries. This could happen mostly due to the fact that from 1993 to 2001 I sang in the Kantylena Youth Choir. I must say these have been my best years so far. I've made a lot of friends and seen places I wouldn't be able to see otherwise.

And so I've been to Germany (twice), Hungary, Sweden (beautiful country and lovely people), Slovakia, and most important - Italy, where I met the Pope John Paul II.

I was in Kantylena during my stay in secondary school and until my fourth year of university studies. Then I started to sing in the Cecilian Choir at St. Anthony's Church and I this where I practice my voice nowadays.

I got my MA in pedagogics in 2002; then,for 1 year, I worked at primary school in Lublin teaching English to 8-year-olds. For three years now, I've worked in a country primary school in Nowa Jedlanka (50 km NE of Lublin) where I teach English to children aged 7-12 and music (grades 4-6).

I've been learnig English since I was 12 and I think I can speak the language pretty well, but that wasn't enough for me, and three years ago I decided to go to university to get BA in English, which I've made to get in June this year. Now I'm taking the second degree course in English from September and after another two or three years I will get MA in English.
