Merry Hello and welcome to
December 15th
Today, we are making cookies.  YEAH YEAH YEAH

I make and divide the dough in the morning, that way...come evening, it's ready to be assaulted by the children.

You will need...
2 cups butter (butter works better than margarine here)
1 package cream cheese (16 ounces)
2 eggs
5 cups all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tsp vanilla
rolling pins
cookie cutters
and spatula's
cookie pans galore
sprinkles

Mix the butter, vanilla, and cream cheese together unti they cream up.  Slowly add the egg then the sugar and keep mixing until it is well blended.  Add the baking powder and flour slowly to the creamed "dough".  Divide it and chill it till the kids get home.

before we start cuting the cookies, I usually scrub down the table, and flour the whole table.  It's easier than trying to get each kid to use a small cutting board, etc...

Preheat the oven to 350' F.

Roll out the dough out to 1/4 (or so).  Then cut it into the shapes you want.  Alot of times I use a butter knife to cut them into neat shapes or to add details to them.  Bake them for 10-13 minutes or until they are lightly golden brown.

You can frost or sprikle, or whatever.  Usually, we eat the first batch before the second batch comes out of the oven.

Enjoy your cookies and make sure you kiss each of your kids before they go to bed.

Bright Blessings,
Fenix
