PAG Meeting Minutes

Old Business:

Caregiver appreciation day went very well. Last minute donations allowed for the purchase of roses for the staff.

Spring Menu was discussed-  Blueberry cobbler will be changed out.   New nutritionist on-board, Kelly Menes.

 

New Business:

Columbus Day was discussed – since academy faculty will be work CDC facility will be open for business.

 

17 June 2005 – Staff Development day. – All CDC and SAS facilities will be closed.

 

Summer camp starts 13 June 2005 – Orientation June 1st and 2nd – signing of permission slips. Lots of great trips are planned – at least 1 per week for grades higher than Kindergarten.  Water bottles, swim suits, towels, no outside foods, limits on trip spending money allowed. Scan cards will be issued.

 

April 30th Month of the Military Child went well. 

 

Part day Preschool  - 3 day is pretty much filled up, 2 day still has openings, a waiting list was generated for the 3 day program.

 

Accreditation – between June and August there will a visit. 

 

693 status - The basement floor will get concrete and the older white portion is to demolished and replaced in kind due the wood rotten and termite damage.

 

Youth Dance recital at 1400 in the Roscoe Robinson Auditorium (Thayer Hall) next Saturday, 21 May 2005 .  It will be televised.

 

Next PAG – 9 June 2005 in the Conference Room. This will be the last meeting for the season.  Will start up again in September.
