Minutes

 

  1. Spring clean up is April 26th from 1130 - 1300.  Please volunteer!  Don't forget you can earn credits!
  2. The sandbox in the playground will not be filled.  They will be making them planters and will be buying rectangular boxes.  The covers for the existing planters are very expensive.
  3. The SAS playground will be changed and will be taking down the basketball hoops.
  4. Room 115 (near the kitchen) will be renovated.  The SAS computer lab will be changed to be a full day infant / pretoddler room.  Room 122 will be infants and pretoddler (4).  With the changes in both rooms, 12 additional children will be allowed at the center.
  5. The center will be hiring staff.
  6. PCS letters are really needed so the center can properly plan.
  7. Cork boards will be going up in the rooms.
  8. The Arbor Day ceremony was a big hit yesterday.  Many thanks to Bob Jones, the USMA Agronomist!!
  9. The volunteer recognition ceremony is 1145-1345 and Child Care is available.
  10. The month of the military child luncheon is 28 Apr rain or shine.
  11. Input to the menus is due tomorrow.
  12. Applications for part day preschool are being accepted from 23-30 Apr for current patrons.  Everyone else may apply 30 Apr to 4 May.  Watch Channel 23 and the pointer view.  The instructing for preschool is the same as the full day daycare program.
  13. Summer camp - don't forget to pay before 1 May or you will lose your place.  There is a long waiting list this year.  The total number of children is 96.
  14. 29-30 May is the open house for B693.  Camp paperwork will need to be filled out at that time.
  15. 11 May is Caregiver Appreciation Lunch.  Please donate.
