This evil man was dubbed the most evil serial killer in Russian history. He murdered at least 53 young girls and boys between 1982 and 1990 when he was finally captured.
He started with girls and then turned to boys too. He mutilated his victim's bodies by destroying the girl's vaginas, bladders. uterus, bladder & breasts. The boys had their penises, scrotum and anuses mutilated.
After he was caught he confessed to killing at least 53 young girls and boys, and led police to the bodies of some undiscovered victims. He told police he got sexual gratification whilst committing the murders and stated it was the only way he could reach orgasm! He also said by killing them he felt a great sense of control.
Chikatilo was found to be legally sane by officials and was sentenced to die.
He was executed with a gunshot wound to the head in 1994. |
