History: Mother died giving birth to Cinder. Cinder's father remarried two years later to a woman called Myrtle, who was fifteen at the time. Now Cinder has two sisters, Elizabeth and Cara.
Last year her family was invited to the local noble household for a masked Christmas (equiv.) Ball, where the eldest son of the household was considering local girls from well-to-do homes for mariage. Cinder, being from the wealthiest, was singled out repeatedly throughout the night. She and her chaperone, her elderly Godmother, left at midnight, barely making it into the coach they were to take home. Cinder stumbled, and lost one of her newly aquired pale blue satin slippers. The slipper was later returned, along with a proposal of marriage, which was accepted. Cinder was sent to the convent to learn something before marrying. Her story was taken in by the bard attending the ball, changed into the classic Cinderella story you hear today, and is now a very popular story with the bards in the area.
