Saint Michael's Old Catholic Church and Wedding Chapel
Saint Michael's church and wedding chapel is a ministry of the Order of Saint Michael and the the Old Catholic Archdiocese of Sts. Michael & Timothy. Our mission is to provide Christians an opportunity to experience Christ in a fully personal way.
We believe that any Christian who has been baptized in the Name of the Holy Trinity unto the remission of sins is a full member of the ancient church universal. We therefor offer Sacramental ministry to all children of God. This being true we will perform matrimonial rites for any couple, who are free to marry, where both the Bride and Groom are baptized Christians without regard for their denominational affiliation, (In the case of remarriage after divorce our Bishops guided by the Holy Spirit will rule on weather or not we may perform the wedding.)
You may expect an intimate personal ceremony. Our Priests are available to answer your questions prior to the wedding. We offer this as a service to our brothers and sisters in Love of our Lord not expecting them to "convert" to our community.
Saint Michael's Church is a small edifice seating a maximum of 14. This is conducive of a truly intimate experience. We can provide you with a memorable wedding in a real church.
Wedding Requirements:
Bride & Groom both baptized Christians.
Two Witnesses of lawful age: Maid/Matron-of-honor and Best Man".
One or more pre-marriage appointments with the officiant
Fees:
Rental of Saint Michael's Church: $25.00
Services of Clergyperson by donation. Normally $25.00 to $50.00.
