1.  INTRODUCTION
The purpose of this webquest is to help you learn more about some of  the cities located in Texas.  Follow the guidelines below.  This project should take four to six class times.  Or about 6 hours.
 

2.  TASK
Spend time researching each city.  Click on this link for a worksheet that will help you take notes while you research.

 

3.  INFORMATION SOURCES
All of the sources you need can be found by clicking on the cities links, located on the webquest how-to page.
 
 
 

4.  PROCESS and GUIDANCE

• make a copy of the worksheet (you should have one worksheet for each city you research)
• use the worksheet to help you as you go through the Texas cities pages
• fill in the worksheet with the answers needed
• use what you learned to help you with the project.

5.  PROJECT
Using what you have learned please choose one of the following projects:

• Make a power point about the cities in the region you studied.  The power point should include between 4 and 6 slides.  Each slide should be about a different city.  Do not create your web page on one city.  It needs to be on all the cities you researched in one region.  A great way would be to include one slide for each city.
• Create a document in Microsoft Word or Netscape Communicator.  Be as creative as you can using just one page.  Include important information you learned about the cities.
• Draw three to five pictures about the cities you researched.  Be sure to give your pictures a title and label important information as needed.  Scan these pictures onto a disk and put into a power point presentation.
