During this storm, I was at
my brother's basketball game. I had taken a friend with me.
Her name was Alison P.
-
Half-way through the game, Alison's
mom called to tell us these exact words before she got cut out,''A tornado
has touched down in Mansfield!!!''
-
My mom spread the word around
the gym. Alison started crying wondering about her family. I also
started wondering if all of my friends were ok.

On the way back to take Alison
home we looked at some of the damage.

As we were lookking around I
saw devastated faces and horror in people's eyes.
-
I really think God helped us
all live through this storm.

My dog had only been with us
for a few days we are very thankful that we left her inside.

The storm was on May 5, 2001.
-
This was small tornado but did
lots of damage.
