August 7th - Pino is finally going to Ireland
August 21st - Pino's back from Ireland with... lots of Guinness tee-shirts.
August 30th - The band ended the study of the new Lorenzo's tune "Twilight At
The Red Canyon" which will be placed on the next CD.
September 1st - Last Summer tour date. The concert was filmed and the video is
now a movie whitch will be available in October.
September 12th - Supper. The band gather together with Stefano B. at Brillo's
place, a tavern downtown Ancona where they'll discuss the new
plans for the Fall. The new album, the new dates, everything
within streams of red wine. Who's Stefano B.? ...find the CDs
and see yourselves!
September 17h - Lorenzo's going back to Ireland.
October 8th - Andrea is going to Marrakech.
October 15th - Everybody is back and the work goes on.
November 1st - 3 brand new songs will be played tonight.
November 16th - The band performed the famous Bill Monroe's classic "Blue Moon
Of Kentucky".
December 2nd - The guys got to Narni, but argued with the organization -
reasons not depending on the band - and refused to play for such
people. The Arroyo apologize with the fans.
A.D. 2001
December 31st - Lorenzo and Davide visit old Freddy, still a friend, then party
in Bologna (New Year's Fest).
January 1st - Happy New Year.
January 6th - The band begins to study hard for the new album.
January 27th - An extract of the video "Arroyo Live" has become a CD which will
be out soon, together with the new album. The title of the new
album is still unknown.
Febraury 17th - The live album is out today. Thanks to Stefano B.
Febraury 21st - The band records the new album. It takes the whole day. It will
be available soon.
February 24th - The title of the new cd is "Freddy Malins". Freddy malins is?
Ask the band. The album will be out in a bit.
March 4th - Andrea is going to Maldives.
March 13th - Andrea is back. Suntanned but not sunburnt!
April 20th - First gig of the year. Awesome.
May 5th - Davide is back from the 'shaky ground'.
May 16th - Unplugged at Andrea's. The band plays 2 brand new songs.
Andrea did a good job, the band's name's on the front big drum's
leather...with a shamrock!
May 23rd - The band works hard on a Steve Earle's blue grass tune, "I Still
Carry You Around".
June 1st - Mariachi.
June 27th - Lorenzo's quotation: ´You all shoud come to Serra De' Conti,
a peaceful village upon Marche hills, friendly people,
fantastic historical buildingsª.
July 4th - Practice at Andrea's new house.
July 26th - Shit happens.
Septermber 3rd - Andrea is going to the Alps.
Septermber 15th - Lorenzo is going back to Ireland.
Septermber 23rd - Stefano B. is going to Euskadi.
October 8th - Stefano B. is back.
October 13th - Lorenzo is back.
October 17th - The band begins to work on the new album which will be released
around February or March 2002.
October 19th - Probable title of the new albun: "In The Nick Of Time".
October 27th - Shit hits the fan.
October 29th - Andrea cannot play anymore as much as the band needs, so the
boys can him. No argument arose, that's just the way it is.
Lorenzo: "A good time which is now ended. Just go ahead now".
Novermber 13th - Meeting with the new drummer, Diego.
Novermber 22nd - First acoustic concert.
Novermber 28th - Diego is definitely the new drummer.
December 11th - Back to the electric sound.
December 19th - Arroyo takes a wee break. Merry Christmas and a happy new year
to everyone (almost everyone).
A.D. 2002
January 3rd - Back to work. Excellent cover of old Wilco's "Dreamer In My
Dreams".
January 24th - A brand new song is goin to be included in the new album. Brand
new because it has been performed for the first time tonight.
Therefore the work will be on 11 songs, one more than
the previous 10. ...So far! Actually the album will be recorded
in March and everything can happen in the meantime.
January 26th - New arrangements on the sound. Lorenzo and Davide agree on a
perfectly acoustic sound of the acoustic guitars, as well as
banjo and mandolin, so with the amazing help of the engineer
but the electric instruments will be recorded through the
microphone. Thus like the voice. So the sound of the new album
will be slightly different from the last one.
March 7th, 8th - The new album "In The Nick Of Time" was supposed to be
recorded, due to some flu the work had to be delayed.
March 17th - St. Patrick's Day. Slýinte.
March 20th-26th - The band records the new album "In The Nick Of Time"... in
the nick of time?
April 6th - New album out today. Want a copy? Contact the boys. How?

June 5th - Arroyo plays a tribute to Creedence Clearwater Revival.
August 6th - Davide's birthday, lots of fun at the harbor bar.
The band is manging a jam session with A.C., a famous
guitarist in town. The show will be defined shortly.
August 17th - The band plays for An To Pan, a cultural club which organizes a
painting, reading, photography and music happening in an ancient
historical buildind by Ancona harbour. The club is composed by
three nice fellows who did an excellent job. An To Pan also asks
the band todouble the gig on the 20th, this is going to be an
unplugged though. So, a rare thing, a wild thing.
August 19th - The unplugged concert has been cancelled. No rare thing, no wild
thing, sorry fans!
September 10th - The band gathers for a real unplugged.
October 6th - Lorenzo is going back to Ireland.
November 3rd - Lorenzo's back.
November 14 - The band recomposed after a long break, just 3 of them but the
practice succeded. A brand new song, "November Day" was played
tonight as well as some oldies like "The MacAlpine's Fusiliers"
and "You Are My Sunshine". A marvellous night but for some sick
mood on Lorenzo's face.
November 21st - Arroyo parts from Diego, they meet at the Irish bar in town for
the last time. Now the future is quite unknown.
December 23rd - The band meets the new drummer, pints a flowing at Bristol bar,
then plans, ideas and laugh. "Fuck the world", Arroyo.
December 24th - "Merry Christmas everybody, well, almost everybody!", Arroyo.
December 27th - Miracle, Lorenzo survived a very bad wreck completely ok. The
automobile is of no use now.
December 29th - First practice with Matteo, the new drummer.
December 31st - Lorenzo is going to Germany.
A.D. 2003
January 9th - Davide introduces the harmonica.
February 16th - OK, lots of new songs tonight, a new album coming?
March 16th - "Down the railroad traks", the boys had a real photo service in a
forbidden area close to Ancona harbour. Then they ended up into a
good "Cantina" with an excellent red.
April 6th - Tonight the band played at a Daniela's party (Davide's friend). All
the boys in a suit, a dark suit, white shirt and tie, they look
like a mixture of Paddys and American East Coast gangsters of the
40s. Someone, well, out of it? A good gig.
May 1st - Matteo, the drummer, has been sacked by the band tonight. Don't worry
folks, everything's still on.
June 12th - The band begins the acoustic rehearsals for the acoustic concerts of
the summer. The 1st one on June 21st.
July 24th - Arroyo meets An To Pan again. The boys will play the sountrack of
some lecturers on August 8th before the gig. Check it out.
August 6th - Davide's birthday in the first place! Arroyo & An To Pan gather in
downtown Ancona open bars for a good night of booze.
September 14th - Lorenzo & Davide jammed @ a friend's, guitar & mandolin. Note,
it was a performance not a gathering for fun. Davide and one
of the girls also spawned a new song, in french! On this song
Lorenzo's on the mandolin.
November 19th - The band gathers after a very long time. The boys will be back
on tour from the 22nd of November.
December 10th - Rehearsal with Roberto, the new drummer.
December 25th - "Merry Christmas to everyone who appreciate our music". Arroyo.
December 29th - Pino is going to Scotland.
December 31st - Davide and Lorenzo party in Bologna, a long pub crawl.

January 6th - Pino is back from Scotland

February 17th - Yet another new song tonight and a cover of Van Morrison's
"Brown Eyed Girl".
March 11th - Band concentrates on the new album.
April 24th - Arroyo thanks the Ravenna crowd.
May 21st - Due to some weird trouble the recording of the new album must be
postponed. The boys apologize, but the date can't be foreseen at
the moment. The set list anyway would've been this: "Bank Robbers",
"Smash The Radio", "Paddy Murphy", "Wandering Milan", "November Day",
"New Roses", "Had I Known", "Lost In The Breeze", "Jesse James",
"Shanty", "My Windowsill". The band is also going to split up with
the drummer in July, this info must be issued as the ones who will
see the shows in the summer might probably find a trio performance...
on the stools!
June 14th - Roberto, the drummer, is definitely out.
June 30th - Andrea is probably back with the band. He was the drummer back in
2000 and 2001.
July 9th - Arroyo doesn't miss the appointment with Shane in Turin today. As
well as the one with Iggy tomorrow. Photos of the boys on Shane's
day will appear shortly on the gallery page.
August 7th - Concert in the wood. The band plays in a clearance in the forest,
at a clan battle festival. The concert is totally acoustic, no
amplification at all, Pino's on the giutar and Maurizio, a special
guest, joins the band on almost all the tunes.
Lorenzo cuts his shins stumbling on an rusty crock after the gig.
September 22nd - Electric rehearsal. The bands tries a new drummer.
September 29th - Band's swell. The guys went out for a few drinks with the new
drummer, all's fine. They celebrated Pino's birthday at
midnight.
November 29th - Christmas recording! The band will record the new album at
Christmas time. 11 songs and ... some weird rumor!
December 27th - Yeah, the band's back in the basement, the new recording has
begun.
December 31st - Lorenzo is going back to England.
A.D. 2005
January 1st - Happy New Year.
January 7th - Lorenzo's back from England.
January 19th - The work on the new record continues, the dobro will be
introduced in a couple songs.
January 22nd - Still in the basement. Unfortunately the instrumental song
"Wandering Milan" won't be included in the album for some
reason.
February 1st - The new album's ready and will be available by the end of next
week. The title is "Old Fishmarket Close". If anybody has any
questions on the subject, please contact the band via email.

February 15th - New album out today. Enjoy the tunes!
March 14th - Lorenzo and Dovide go for a long drive through the Abruzzo
mountains. Pure wilderness covered by 6 feet of snow. They also
stop at John Fante's Grandpa's village, Torricella Peligna.
Check it out, it's worthy. Once there stop at the bar on the main
street and ask for a bottle of red, Montepulciano, a special bottle
with a tiny branch of tree wrapped on the neck.
April 27th - Maurizio - an old friend of the boys - joins the band for today's
rehearsal, on the bass. He's going to substitute Pino for a gig.
June 16th - Lorenzo, Davide and Pino rehears at Pino's for a totally acoustic
itinerant gig which will take place in Cervia (RA) on the
twentyfirst of this month. Mind, no drums and no bass.
June 18th - An Ancona radio station broadcast a couple of songs of the band,
live and directly from the concert which is held tonight. The first
one of the two is complitely acoustic, Pino on the guitar and
Lorenzo on the tin whistle. The second one is the old "Twilight At
The Red Canyon".
June 19th - Several songs from "Old Fishmarket Close" are available at

June 25th - The boys say goodbye to Michele. He'll be playing in some noise rock
band.
June 30th - Davide is going to Finland.
July 10th - Davide comes back from Finland.
August 8th - The band tries a new drummer.
August 20th - Lorenzo is going back to Scotland.
August 30th - Lorenzo is back from Scotland.
August 31st - Back to work.
October 2nd - Rake for Lorenzo's birthday. The boys play a few tunes together
with Eamonn, a mate. Wonderful "Paddy Works On The Railway".
October 23rd - Rehearsal's at Maurizio's. Maurizio is going to substitute
Pino on the next concert. He had already joined the band on an
acoustic show in 2004.
October 24th - The new poster of the band's gigs is now available. Ask the boys

October 28th - Lorenzo and Davide also work on a side project, playing Cajun
with a fiddle & guitar duo.

January 1st - Happy New Year.
January 4th - Pino's back from Germany.
January 7th - The boys sing and play along with Maurizio and Eamonn from
Donegal. After a dinner with many friends they picked up
Maurizio's Fidardo guitar, played and sang band's stuff, old
Irish tunes, rock'n'roll ballads and some Italian folk songs.
January 11th - The band tries a new drummer. The guy's ok.
March 8th - Davide brought in a new Mandolin.
March 15th - The band will have a substitute on the drums for the gig on April
15th.
March 17th - Arroyo celbrates Paddy's Day with pints a flowin'!!!

April 5th - There'll be no need for a substitute on the drums as the gig
on April 15th has been cancelled. Arroyo apologizes, it's not their
fault.
May 5th - The boys will be playing a few tunes at a beach party tonight.
May 6th - Diego, who was the band's drummer at the time of "In The Nick Of Time"
record, was a guest at the beach party and played a song with the
band.
May 12th - There's a film about a session with Maurizio, a song, recorded on
April 28th.
May 20th - The band is rehearsing 2 new instrumental tunes: "Spean Bridge" and
"Shopping Mall Blues".
May 25th - Last night's gig was cancelled due to the bad weather. The band
fires Matteo.
May 26th - Lorenzo, Pino and Davide went to see the Gang play yesterday, in
Falconara (AN). On the last song ("Bella Ciao"), Pino who knows
the Gang since way back, jumped on the stage and was asked to sing.
He did sing with the Gang then, a marvellous session.
June 7th - Late in the night, coming from rehearsals Pino and Lorenzo stop at a
neighborhood pub and bring over their guitars. They play a few tunes
with their friend Eamonn who sings along. Old Irish traditional
songs.
August 5th - Lorenzo is going back to Ireland.
August 16th - Lorenzo is back from Ireland.
August 27th - Arroyo plays with a special guest tonight: Maurizio on the
acoustic guitar.
September 15th - Pino is going back to Germany.
September 22nd - Pino is back from Germany.
October 26th - The band is rehearsing Sonny Curtis' "I Fought The Law",
which will be added to the next gig's set list.
November 4th - Last night gig saw the boys jamming with The Gang. "I Fought
The Law", "Jesse James", "Who'll Stop The Rain", the Gang's
"Sesto San Giovanni" and "Brown Eyed Girl" their acclaimed
encore. Photos of the event will appear shortly on this site.
November 7th - Lorenzo buys a Les Paul.
November 15th - Pictures with The Gang are now available on this site.
December 20th - The work of Arroyo ends up today. The band ceases to exist.
