Padada is the home of the people's radio, DXPR. It resumes its broadcasting operation after a few months of lull and silence in the airwaves last July 1, 1999 and is now owned and operated by the Countryside Development Foundation, Inc. (CDFI) which is an NGO. DXPR is a medium that caters to a no hard-hitting-commentaries, no news on petty crimes and on felony and on political sensationalism and of sorts. Whenever you guys are in town and likes the format, tune in to DXPR on your AM band at 1510khz on the frequency dial. Broadcasting starts at 5:00 AM and log off at 10:00 PM. Station manager Santos Bravo, Sr. have purged a partnership agreement with Mayor Givel Mamaril of Malalag, who also is the chairperson of the Malalag Bay Area - Provincial Agri-industrial Center ( MBA - PAIC ) to make DXPR as the official radio station of the center.
