                   ADVENTURE RACE

Seeing action during the 2nd  Sta. Cruz Adventure Race last October 5 were the newly formed adventure race…
Team Padada.com.

Team Padada.com is a composite of four tough and able guys with stamina that can endure grueling and extreme activities. Pocholo de la Pena was the team captain with Salvador Almonia, Raphael Vagilidad and Romel Jamero for logistics.

The 8hr non stop race started with a mountain bike from the municipal hall going to Ayala farm in Cebulan followed
by a 5k uphill run before shooting the white water rapids of the Cebulan river using an inner tube of a tire. They
mounted on their mountain bikes after tubing and pedals their way to Bato for a cross swim towards the white sand
bar and back, and had to run again going to the town where trisikad awaits at the junction and rode it up to finish
line.

Albeit the caliber of the competing racers who participated the event, Team Padada.com managed to finish the
punishing course, their unwavering spirit and confidence made them intimidating.

Special thanks to our sponsors, Penpen Mendez de la Pena, Farmtrade and the Philippine National Red Cross (Digos Chapter) and www.padada.com

We are planning to hold an Adventure Race in Padada on  January. Any guys who wish to extend financial support
can contact the writer. [email protected] /[email protected] or call/text +639179241157.
