PACS Club Houston Meeting Information
The meetings are held three to four times annually.

Different facilities take turns hosting the meetings.

Meetings generally start at 1:00 and end at 3:30 to 5:00

Meetings are held during the business day because these meetings benefit the participating facilities more than they benefit the individual attendees because no continuing education credit is offered.

Rest assured that even though vendors participate in the meeting and sometimes provide lectures they are not sales presentations in any way shape sort or form.

Meeting rules:

All vendors are allowed to attend meetings even if a competing vendor is providing the presentation.

Vendors are not allowed to ask any questions or make any comments about or during the presentation. The reason for this is to prevent squabbles and competition among vendors at the meeting.

Vendors that provide presentations are required to only talk about technology in a collegiate style and are not to make any references to their specific product or that of their competitors.

At the end the meeting two votes will be taken to determine if the presentation provided was a sales presentation or an educational presentation.

The first vote will be by the vendors attending the meeting about whether they believe the presentation was a sales presentation or not.

The second vote will be by the general members as to whether they believe the presentation was a sales presentation are not.

Should both groups agree that the presentation was in fact a sales presentation and not an educational presentation, the vendors company will be banned from attending any meetings for a period of two years and a letter sent to their company. The specific vendor themselves will also be banned from attending any meetings for a period of two years should they move to another company during the two-year period.
